A few days ago I realized that we who are participating on the Agenda 21 thread have amassed an impressive amount of data and links which are quite important for the educating of anyone who is wondering what “Agenda 21” is all about.

There is absolutely no question in the minds of any of our participants at this stage that “Agenda 21” is real, and is NOT a tin-foil hat conspiracy. There are quite a number of people on this forum who were way ahead of us, and have been quite patient with us while some (like myself) have played catch-up.

With this new thread, I am proposing that we continue our practice of collecting data and links to relevant articles, but I would also like to see discussions and brainstorming, advice, ideas, on WHAT DO WE DO ABOUT IT?? Nuts and Bolts. Baby steps. Giant steps. Letters to the editor. Letters to representatives. After action reports. Putting into practice the overcoming of the Delphi Techniques practiced by Sustainability Meeting Facilitators. Ways to educate our fellow citizens. Etc.

In my neck of the woods things are going on behind the scenes, you really need to comb your local papers and news sites to see it unfolding...and typing on those comment sections need to be pounced on quickly - they need to be outed to the general public. Don’t be shy - type Agenda 21 and then explain it.

There are ‘tells’ - there’s buzz words scattered in articles - when words like ‘sustainability’-’transitions’-’global’-’climate’-’resources’....all those cute progressive words...they are Agenda 21 acting locally - they are set up to do just that. Agenda 21 is set to work bottom up.

Most everyone is not paying attention to these people - they are poised to sneak in the dark of the night when everyone is sleeping. We need to act locally too - shine that flashlight-blow the horns- wake the neighbors!

Back when the whole global warming thing was front and center, I heard al gore testifying at a congressional hearing. He said, almost as an afterthought, that we needed to stop global warming and that the methods used would also stop third world women from having so many children.
I realized then what the whole deal was and sent it to Jim Quinn the same day. It seemed to me then, and still seems, that NO ONE picked up pn it except me.
I have been trying to get someone to listen for years. gore and strong have made zillions from this scam, and many pols who say they believe in “manmade global warming” and “green energy’ DON’T really, but it is so lucrative they stand to gain both money and power from controlling the way we eat, drink, and they damn sure don’t want us to be merry.
The whole financial meltdown and the foreclosures to STEAL people’s land and homes out from under them is all part of it.
You are now seeing the war on family farms.
There is so much to this and so many facets, it’s hard to know where to begin.

Here in mid coast Maine’ our governor canceled funding last lear for a huge agenda 21 project which would have removed the citizens’ rights in 20 towns along US 1.

Comment threads on everyone’s local newspaper sites need to be pounced on.

I’m pretty active on my local rag’s website in the comment sections under articles. While FR is THE BEST site on the web I think we all need to make an effort to really comb our local sites and watch what’s going on and react and type comments quickly and effectively.

Not only are there Agenda 21 happenings going on in everyone’s backyard - they are being ‘nicely’ and ‘cutely’ and ‘innocently’ reported on - if you watch comment threads under those articles- the progressives are out in force to validate the articles. We all need to strike them back and shut them down - at the least to shine the light on what they really are....We learn what’s going on here on these threads but we really need to act locally - because they ARE - that’s how they are doing it.....it’s Chinese water torture....drip...drip...drip.

We all have to pay attention to our backyards and mow down these weeds.

Threads like this are perfect when we need help in our backyards...FR neighbor helping FR neighbor...lots of weeding to do...

Anytime you read a cute puff piece that smells like Agenda 21 in your local newspaper it is most certainly Agenda 21 driven...they need to be outed.

I can’t stress enough that all of us here have to be vigilant in watching our own backyards and the news, groups, non-profits, etc. that are creeping into them - we all have to be active on our local papers - Because - THEY ARE - that’s their STRATEGY.

Utah intends to own the land within its state. The state legislature enacted and the Governor signed a law that informs the federal government that if the federal government has not turned over all federal land within Utah by the end of 2014, then the state will take the federal land by eminent domain. For years now, the feds have not only been expanding their ownership and control of land, including private property, but are driving people off their land.

This is the effect of Agenda 21 in rural communities. The same kind of control of land use has been expanding in urban communities since Agenda 21 was signed by George H.W. Bush, and the creation of the President’s Council on Sustainable Development by Bill Clinton in 1993.
