But seriously folks, this is the linage of a broken society. It will only get worse as the barometer of mankind will continue down the rabbit hole into unbelievable degradation.

Woods gained notoriety in 2008 when she and a friend stole $168 from a Girl Scout who was selling cookies at a Boynton Beach Winn-Dixie.

Less than three weeks after the cookie caper, Woods and the friend were arrested after dining at a Denny's in western Lantana and then walking out on their $25.84 bill.

In 2009, Woods, her then-boyfriend and another man robbed a man of prescription drugs while armed with a gun in Palm Beach Gardens, and she pleaded guilty to kidnapping and firearm charges.

I read in the WSJ yesterday that there are more people on Medicaid in Texas than there are people in Iowa, Mississippi, Arkansas, or Kansas.

According to online reports and items I’ve seen recently between 100 and 110 million people in this country are on some sort of government welfare. This does not include Social Security or Medicare, but it does include their sister benefits - SSI, SSDI, and Medicaid, plus SNAP, TANF, Section 8, et al.

I believe that I read where one of the last rounds of unemployment releases said that more people applied for disability that month than filed for unemployment.

With these numbers, dramatically increased during Obama’s tenure, this country will not survive, unless there is a very drastic change - soon.

The USA is just like the family in 2007 riding a wave of false prosperity based on credit cards and helocs on houses with negative equity.

The regime is spending $1.40 for every $1 in revenue to buy votes.

What is "linage?"

It will only get worse as the barometer of mankind will continue down the rabbit hole into unbelievable degradation.

Way to go with the mixed metaphors there!

I remember the mid 2000 dinks in the high priced area I used to live in.....double incomes no kids, good jobs, buying million dollar houses on an interest-only basis.

Full deduction of that interest bringing it down to a rent-level cost, yearly tax returns netting back $10,000 or more vacation/splurge money, and counting - COUNTING - on a sale in 5 years for a house they lived in cheaper than some apartments coupled with an inflated appreciation on the value of the home that they would sell for a nice profit.

Nice try - wrong decade....

When you have a large group of insular people, who lay claim to "diversity" (and then fail to understand true diversity);
who truly hate anyone who disagrees with them and labels such people as "haters";
that includes a number of very rich people who claim to want the government to tax the rich more, but then (A)contribute less to charity than most, and (B)use tax laws to get out of paying any more than they must;
Who run amok in the streets smashing windows and trashing whatever they want (and then are astonished when anyone on the right holds protests or marches - like only the Left is allowed to do that);
Who go after anyone on the Right for the slightest perceived "gaffe", but let slide their own (or go on TV to help cover them up);
who blame the Right if a Lefty commits a crime, and blame the Right if a Righty commits a crime;
then you have a serious disconnect among a sizable portion of your population. There's no real talking to these people, no way to convince them to even understand your point of view. They don't want to!

I say let them have their own little socialist paradise with on part of the country, and let us have a portion where we can have a our own nation of the sane and tolerable.

this really bothers me..

there is a remote possibility that I may have to apply for this due to a condition..

I would hate to be accepted, then kicked out in a “purge” of the rolls because of this blatant fraud..

Ann is wrong about Ryan though.

Yes the dollar will collapse, and festering Democrat toxins will explode in riots and murder. Perhaps there will even be an attempted reenactment of the Vendee (which she speaks about elsewhere) starring 1.5 billion rounds of hollow-point ammo.

But as for the long-term economic future of America: it is as if America had granted a free pass by God. You guys are about to become extremely rich in both Natural Gas and Oil. Only an Obama win can stop America rising again.

Ann - please don't presume Ryan is a 'jackal' because he's a political realist. As far as economic survival goes: all R&R have to do is to maintain America as a free Republic until the oil revenues kick in.

The moral survival of America is another matter - but Ryan is an honest and forthright man. R&R together are far better than the Stalinist alternative.

Gramsci's ghost haunts us still. This is all happening precisely as Gramsci envisioned back at the beginning of the twentieth century: demoralization, destabilization, "normalization" into tyranny.

I highly recommend reading Malachi Martin's The Keys of This Blood for his chapter on Gramsci and what his meme portends for the rest of us.

The United States government is a gigantic, mathematically impossible Ponzi that cannot be salvaged. It is mathematically impossible, as in the mathematics of what Romney and Ryan are saying is totally, completely mathematically impossible, as in NOT POSSIBLE MATHEMATICALLY. And they know it. Hence, they are amoral, psychopathic liars.

What it is.

yes America is doomed

1) Demographics

2) This quote from Prager Zeitung (newspaper in Czech) which says it better than I could

“The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president.

“The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America . Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince.

“The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.”

3) Demographics

Your trouble will be even being ‘accepted’. There is a reason that you see the daytime lawyer ads to ‘assist you with your disability claim’. I’ve heard SS outright denies claims on receipt and have to be sued. Whether that’s true or not is only found by trying.

I’m not saying you are a leech or anything but it is clearly a sign about this latest news that leeches and scoundrels are aplenty in this country and they are pulling out all the stops, and we as taxpayers and bankrollers for the unproductive cannot keep paying the bill. Something has to give. I’m afraid also that this will end badly.

Even a 200 Trillion PV debt can be paid off if you just devalue the currency enough.

Which is what is going to happen, like a slow train wreck. The dollar will crash like Ann’s metaphorical ‘barometer down a rabbit-hole’ before all of America’s new oil revenue kicks in.

Which means that America will have to move away from fiat currency and into actual money.

Buy precious metals as if your life depended on it.
