Seeking Election Night Snack Food Advice
Self | October 26, 2012 | PJ-Comix

Okay, the Coupon Stars have properly aligned again so I can get pretty much any food I want for FREE for the next few weeks. I already have a bottle of Grey Goose Vodka which I traded for in my South Florida Barter King guise and will supplement that with iced coffee in order to stay awake until late at night watching the returns.

So what snack food would go good with these drinks? I don't want anything too heavy. Just light and fun to eat. Sushi sounds like a good idea but what else? I am open to suggestions.

I'm definitely thinking of gourmet popcorn. Oh, and I'll have my wife cook up home made french fries. They are the BEST!!!

Cocktail sausage baked in crescent rolls with dipping sauces. You can get a lot of bang for your buck with those.

Ohhh, and some smoked oysters and whatever sort of sardine you are partial to. Some sort of pickles too, maybe some hot peppers, dills and sweets.

Tabuleh is good for you too. Some hard sausages, if you want some meat other than fish.

Cheese stuffed Jalepeno peppers dipped in extra hot salsa.

Cut the vodka with tequilla and wash it down with Red Bull and motor oil (I prefer Mobile 1 Synthetic for it’s smooth after taste). You won’t tase the popcorn after that but you’ll remember the events clearly the next day during a bowel movement. It’ll either be worth it or appropriate.

This puts me in the right mind to watch the election returns and commentary.

That “garlic roasted on french bread” sounds really good!

Using Coconut oil & whirly pop, then real butter and garlic powder.

Will run to 7-11 for 32 oz Coke.

I expect MSNBC & CNN to have large viewership as many conservatives will want to see their meltdown.

As the great Ben Maller says, “the best story is always in the losing locker room”.

Before a year ago I would have buffalo wings but what happened is that I got so many of them last year via coupons that my body rejects it. A few months ago I tried to eat Buffalo Wings but I couldn’t get past the second one. I even waited until I was really hungry the next day but I still couldn’t eat them. Perhaps buffalo wings is like penicillin-—take too much of it and your body builds up an immunity to it.

Dr. Ard’s election night prescription: 5 barrels of Popcorn, 16 cans of Monster Java, 12 beef jerky packs, a firearm and lots of ammo, nonliving (or at least nonsentient) targets, and absolutely no FR.
