Oh heck, during one unemployment stint I delivered pizzas for Dominos. If it weren't for the free pizza I received, I probably would have about broken even, given the lousy tippers, cost of gas and lousy compensation (sub-minimum plus 50 cents per trip), and I don't regret it.

Me thinks that since this guy is so opposed to doing something difficult and painful like working that he will find starving difficult and painful as well. So he will likely punk out on the hunger strike. I work in a prison and see hunger strikes threatened literally all the time. Average length of hunger strike: the time between one meal being served and the next one.
