This really has me terrified. I don't know it our country will survive this. We have about 1 hour before sequester hits the East Coast and most Americans are mostly unaware of it.
We cant fault our President Obama.
He has been traveling around the country speaking in political rallies warning us of the worst if it hits, but they just wont listen. They wont listen!
Only an emergency tax increase bill could save us now and the GOP just wont do it. They don't care. They don't care.
The only thing comparable is how Noah warned of the coming flood and was ignored and most of the human race drowned.
I am worried about the vampires coming out after the military and police are furloughed. And all the mass killers let loose after the power goes off in the prisons and the guards are furloughed.
So what can we do now??
1) Store Bottled water and dry food
2) candles matches and firewood
3) Guns, but please do it safely and wait for the universal background check or you might use it to commit suicide
4) Go in your basement if you have one and hide under a strong table
5) garlic to hold off the vampires
6) A floatation device in case the tidal wave floods your basement.
7) If you have a car with gas flee Maryland, DC and Northern Va right now, as Sequester will hit that area the hardest.

If you eat the children first, they are likely healthier and more nutritious while simultaneously conserving much needed future food supplies. If you wait until all the other food is gone, the food will run out sooner as they will be eating until then and there is a good chance there won’t be as much “meat on their bones” at that point.
This sequestration is going to make for some tough decisions about survival.
I live in Maryland so I am very familiar with the types you are talking about.
If they complain about the effect on them personally say :
“The universe doesnt revolve around you personally. Someone has to pay this off, Obama claims only the rich will pay all that debt he ran up which we know is not true. Sometimes you have to but greater concerns above personal greed”
If they say that Republicans will lose more elections because most agree with Obama over this then say:
“Of course they will lose, Obama offers them trillions in handouts and claims that only the rich will have to pay for them, how can the GOP compete with that? Promise to run 5 trillion dollar deficits by spending even more?.”
It completely kills their moral/fairness arguments.
Know your enemy (I notice clueless Hannity's arguments are pretty lame repeat talking points) if you want to beat him.
Michele Obama is taking it VERY seriously-—she’s packed all her dresses, gowns, jewelry and wigs in five eighteen-wheeler semi trucks.
(Along with a coupele paper bags of carrots and sweet potatoes from her garden-—for survival).
She’s headed out to Chicago where the Obamas have several trillion dollars hidden in Mayor Rahm’s tutus and leotards.
Better yet, put a rubber band around your head...and SNAP OUT OT IT!

Air Force 11 flew the veep home to nearby Delaware and to the Delaware Golf Club.....the plane was also seen frequently in the Caribbean-—where Joe’s (cough) “brother” owns a posh beachfront home.
Now Joe’s taking Amtrak....stateside.
Maybe Joe will take his shotgun along on his AMTRAK junkets, you know, to keep his adoring peeps at bay.

“I just woke up, Did we survive ?”
BOL! The same here. We were out carousing last night, actually going to good high school play.
This morning I noticed:
Our home was still standing and our neighbors’s homes.
Our fishwrap had been delivered apparently without the delivery lady being shot, stabbed, raped, mugged or suffering a car jacking.
Some kids were walking by to their shool, and other were being NasCared by their mothers.
Our water, sewer, electicity, natural gas, cable tv, internet and phone systems were still working.
My trophy wife and her gene pool like to talk in the early morning. She uses our landline and her cell. Everyone in her gene pool was still safe and alive. She texted our grandkids, and they were on their way to schools which where still open. Their NasCar driver, our DIL, said the traffic lights worked and traffic to and from the school. She and the kids had no problem. When, she got home her, I phone worked.
Our adult sons drove trucks or rode their bikes to their real work places with zero problems and everything is working including them and their work staff.
My wife said the local tv stations which make a cat in a tree a major story, had no disasters to show. PS: The local tv stations went to see/hear the magical Oreo. He looked hungover as he tried to blame the evil republicans for the horrible impact of the Seq bs.
Obviously the Seq bs has not really impacted us.
The worst of the worst have been elected to office, including a secretive madman in the highest position, who may not have been even legally qualified to hold that office. Idi Amin in a suit, vetted for office by a millionaire woman on her word alone.
The irony is that the "some animals are more equal than others" crowd will be the enemy both of the "entitled" army, and the workers with a real job and seething anger at the same time. The denoument will not be pretty --- for them.
We live in interesting times.
These Obama days make me long for the 1990s.
Clinton's economic (snd social obviously) policies were much more moderate than Obama’s are.
For one thing the population has changed greatly since then due to a huge integration boom. I know few of them personally who talk like O is Jesus.
With fiscal matters Clinton was terrified that massive national debts would cause inflation and raise interest rates and kill the economy, the Carter syndrome.
So he raised a few taxes and then cut a few and didnt try to massively grow government and he saw over big reductions in military spending. So things went pretty well.
But today the world economy is much different. The slowness of the world economy has not only made government look more appealing to those new voters, but it has allowed the gubment to create and borrow much more $$$ without having to worry about raising interest rates, to control inflation.
So Obama has had a near blank check from voters to borrow, borrow, borrow.
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi is speaking out against a cut in congressional pay because she says it will undermine the dignity of their positions. "I think we should respect the work we do," Pelosi said. "I think it's necessary for us to have the dignity of the job that we have rewarded."

I did a satire on Donald Trump for POTUS in 2011 and it was so good that a few here really thought I was serious and jumped on me, a few others praised me for such real sounding satire, obviously this one here was easy to tell I was having fun.
I was so happy with the other one I strung them along and made believe I was serious in comments replies till they figured it out.
That was a blast!
Just remind those government workers of Obama’s comment: “At some point you’ve made enough money.” Then tell them that, apparently, Obama thinks you’ve reached that point....
