When a little girl named Evie visited Yosemite National Park, she accidentally went home with two sticks in her pockets.
Evie was dismayed by her discovery. During her visit, she went through the Junior Park Ranger Program and learned that visitors shouldn

Too late. The Stick Police division of DHS have already been dispatched.
She’s very fortunate the drone program isn’t quite up and running yet.
This isn’t funny. It’s a sad commentary on how children have been indoctrinated. It’s pathetic, not funny.
Alleged ‘cuteness’ notwithstanding, this is disturbing on several different levels, ya know ?
The National Park Service Gestapo of DHS has dispatched an assassination team to “eliminate” the national security threat posed by Evie to Yosemite National Park. No good deed ever goes unpunished. Goodbye, Evie.
yep...already conditioned to follow every stupid little moronic rule the gov’t put into place. lol...my son wuld have stuffed his pockets with all sorts of “cool” things from the ground and not thought twice about it.
My 9 year-old daughter was berated by a park ranger who saw her picking up and carrying something. The ranger launched into her screed as my daughter calmly showed her the bit of litter she had picked up. As the ranger paused, my daughter offered to put the candy wrapper back where she had found it. The ranger stalked off without the grace to even apologize.
I knew there was a reason I posted this.
What an adorable little automaton.
I did like one of the comments - “the cute store called - they’re out of you”
My GOODNESS!
Hope no one in the gummint finds out about the water I drank from lake Yellowstone. It passed through me already and I don’t know where it is now.
Don’t Drone Me Bro!
What a megajerk.
What’s the difference between that and the Boy Scouts’ “Leave no trace”?
*** berated by a park ranger***
I have always found park rangers to mostly be friendly. I did find a jerk ranger at Arches NP several years ago.
I had taken a toy poodle to Canyon de Chelly, Zion, Bryce, Capitol Reef, Canyonlands with no problem. When I went to Arches, the ranger berated me and said I could not take my pup on a leash up a short trail. And “NO!” I could not carry him either!
So, the wife stayed in the truck with the pup, when I got back I stayed with the pup till she got back.
It is easy to see why some kid forty years ago said to a ranger...”HI pig ranger!”
Sickening.
STICK!
RAT TAT TAT, RAT TAT TAT TAT TAT!!!
KILL THE DAMN DOG BEFORE YOU LEAVE TOO!!!
Yeah, mostly they are nice. In January, I was treated to a lecture on the difference between sunset and dusk, and given a $45 ticket. (In my ignorance, I did not know)
How can I get a job writing at sfgate.com? I can poach threads from reddit too!
