This isn’t funny. It’s a sad commentary on how children have been indoctrinated. It’s pathetic, not funny.

The National Park Service Gestapo of DHS has dispatched an assassination team to “eliminate” the national security threat posed by Evie to Yosemite National Park. No good deed ever goes unpunished. Goodbye, Evie.

My 9 year-old daughter was berated by a park ranger who saw her picking up and carrying something. The ranger launched into her screed as my daughter calmly showed her the bit of litter she had picked up. As the ranger paused, my daughter offered to put the candy wrapper back where she had found it. The ranger stalked off without the grace to even apologize.

What an adorable little automaton.

I did like one of the comments - “the cute store called - they’re out of you”

*** berated by a park ranger***

I have always found park rangers to mostly be friendly. I did find a jerk ranger at Arches NP several years ago.

I had taken a toy poodle to Canyon de Chelly, Zion, Bryce, Capitol Reef, Canyonlands with no problem. When I went to Arches, the ranger berated me and said I could not take my pup on a leash up a short trail. And “NO!” I could not carry him either!

So, the wife stayed in the truck with the pup, when I got back I stayed with the pup till she got back.

It is easy to see why some kid forty years ago said to a ranger...”HI pig ranger!”

Yeah, mostly they are nice. In January, I was treated to a lecture on the difference between sunset and dusk, and given a $45 ticket. (In my ignorance, I did not know)
