It was in the middle of a Democrat President's second term. Emboldened by re-election, he began to deceive the American people on a wide range of issues. He felt there was nothing that could touch him. In fact he blatantly lied to the American people time and time again feeling as if he could get away with anything.
But then it all went wrong. A citizen journalist who had taken jobs at 7-11, Mcdonalds and grocery stores got tired of the lies, and decided he had enough. He waited for the next lie to happen. And when it did, Matthew Nathan "Matt" Drudge took advantage and launched his career on the back of a Bill Clinton lie. In 1998, Drudge gained popularity when he was the first outlet to break the news that later became the Monica Lewinsky scandal.
Bill Clinton was impeached by the House of Representatives on two charges, one of perjury and one of obstruction of justice, on December 19, 1998. He was acquitted by the Senate on February 12, 1999. Requiring a two-thirds majority for a conviction, only 50 senators (out of 100) voted guilty on the obstruction charge and 45 on the perjury charge. The Senate was 17 votes short of removing Clinton from office.
Today we have a similar situation. A President in the middle of his second term, feeling emboldened by a reelection victory who has possibly bitten off more than he can chew. And now we have another Patriot, Glenn Edward Lee Beck, attempting to launch his own network. This time it could be on the back of a lie or lies by one Barack Obama.
We will find out Monday.
Beck is the originating source of blatantly false rumormongering too often.
Drudge made a branding decision very early on to not be THE SOURCE of unsubstantiated, politically motivated attacks across the aisle. That isn’t to say that Drudge didn’t give precedent to the likes of Bachelor, Fund, Klayman, etc to display Matt’s own political bias.
But as seen this week, Beck is repeatedly blowing smoke that is originating out of his own ass, which over time partially or completely discredits himself, his employees, his contributors, and his media outlet in the eyes of sensible media consumers in the world.
And what is this ever so secret info.........is it going to be like everything else...... a yawn?
We’ll see what he has Monday. If it’s big.. then it’s big. If it’s nothing then it’ll damage his cred...
Even thought there is much evidence of Fraud in Obama’s documents Beck denies it all. I lost my respect for him after that. Notice how Glenn beck has no interest in the case put forth by Sheriff Joe’s investigative team.
You sure are correct.
I liked the history lessons Beck gave when he was on Fox but much of his current rhetoric is lame and I rarely listen to him any more.
This has to be a real game changer or Beck should be finished.

WARNING: Laws being written to screw you.
I work on a security commission and I've just received word to start campaigning on a campaign we've been working on for the last two months and now it all makes sense.
I'll keep it as short can I can.
They're going to pin this event on a male late teens to early 20s and say he did it because he's unstable. They are going to find firearms and a NRA book in his home. They are going to say he used reloading powder for the explosion and that reloading powder shouldn't be for sale to the public. They are then going to say that because the powder in ammunition can be used for explosions that the number of rounds you can buy should be limited and taxed to help pay for these events.
I can't do anything or I'll lose my job and possibly face criminals charges. Please don't let them get away with it. They won't find the suspect till later this week and the raid is issued to occur on Friday. This was a staged event. The people hurt are real but the event was planned. Don't let them hurt our rights.

I wish FOX would give Beck his hour back.

That’s comedy gold right there. Drudge had millions of readers, Beck has only a few thousand people following his delusions anymore.

Glenn can out Shakespeare Shakespeare when it comes to drama, but he was right ON about Benghazi. It was about gun running and retrieval by the American ambassador. And that has been confirmed by government officials.
But it went nowhere with the Stasi stenographers and lamestream media. The truth has to be disseminated, and I wish Beck Godspeed in gearing up The Blaze.
Drudge reported. Beck has to bring himself into everything he talks about. I can't bear him any more.
He offered the info to other news outlets in the hope that they would want to break the story.
When his offer was met with silence, he gave them an ultimatum: "If you don't break this story by Monday, The Blaze will." Beck also said the evidence is locked in a safe and was also given to at least ten other people. So even if something happens to Beck over the weekend, the story is still coming out on Monday, no matter what.
He also said "If even HALF this information is false -- and it ISN'T -- what we're going to expose is staggering."

Drudge was about conservatism and posted breaking news as he received it while Beck on the other hand is just a self promoting whiner who issues teasers in order to get his viewers to watch his own alleged breaking news on Monday.........
I used to watch him on Fox but haven't missed him once he left........
