It must be true if someone said it on Fox...
Or maybe not.
In the past ~ 5 years of Obama’s administration this has generated the most negative MSM press than any other incident, ya even got Comedy Central and SNL making fun of it and the administration. It breaks the talk radio paradigm
This has been more effective at making big lib Government look incompetent then all the past same years of the Tea party criticism.
No that idea that they planned it this way is ridiculous.
They made insurance companies cancel those policies to force people into the exchanges. That is simple.
That's why Sebilius was given the power to change/add it as needed.
Based on the level of incompetence displayed by this administration, I find it hard to believe that they could forumlate any plan that had as its goal what we are seeing now. Do I believe the goal is single-payer? Yes, they have always wanted that. Do I believe that this is the way they wanted OCare to shake out so they could get to single-payer? No. I don’t believe that because how could they possibly think that purposely creating this debaucle would cause people to trust them enough give them 100% of the healthcare system.
What I think is that they deluded themselves into believing this would be so great that when they introduced single payer, American citizens would be cheering them across the finish line. What they didn’t account for is the ineptness of government itself. That comes from the combination of arrogance and incompetence. Something politicians posses in spades. Now let’s see if once again Republicans are capable of seizing defeat from the jaws of victory.
Heard that on FNC. I need to look it up in law and compare it to what the website says about Grandfather provision.
The broken website added to the cancellations has caused much deserved heat on them.
I did hear a Dem on CNN claiming that extending the mandate deadline might result in many Americans deciding just to not comply.
Worse yet, he will entice the right to offer solutions. Then when those solutions actually work he will then blame the right on this entire mess. "see, they made it work and are therefore are responsible for putting your family in this mess" As cry-baby as it sounds and looks, the right needs to stay as far away from ever helping fix this problem. Let the left own it. More importantly, use it as a drum and beat the hell out of it. Every ad from here until election day - 2016 - should show America how much this new ACA. Someone needs to string together all of those campaign speeches where all those promises were made, then show how they were all broken. I know that is a pipedream, but I sure hope it happens.
Exactly. There are many short memories here.
This particular bill is not the one that the house progressives wanted, they wanted single payer or at least a single payer option.
They were forced to pass the Senate version of bill with some $$ changes (budget reconciliation) because they couldn't get a 60 vote in the Senate a second time.
So there is no public plan. So the personal mandate is a joke. And they are forced to defend it anyway because they own it.
And the bill is sooo massive and requires so much that a smooth rollout wasnt going to happen.
Now they are left with claiming Obama-care was really the GOP’s idea.
I noticed that too. One of the talking points is to refer to RomneyCare in Mass, as if Republicans were the ones who wrote ACA. If this really is part of some grand scheme, why are they attempting to give Republicans the “credit.” Then from the other side of their mouths, they are blaming Republicans for resisting it. They really are in complete desparation over how this is turning out.
There are millions losing policies that they hand-picked for themselves and their families. Those people have the power to take Democrats out state by state. Whether Republicans will use this to get back the Senate, remains to be seen.
He finally found someone malignant enough to bring it down. Besides, Satan would rather keep the freak stinking up the surface of the planet, than fouling up the underworld.
BINGO!
I missed Michelle saying he stunk. I’d love to have seen that.
