My wife and I bought this after selling our daughter Amanda into white slavery. We actually got a refurbished. It's missing the remote, but oh well-- for $10K off, I can afford a universal, right? The picture is amazing. I've never seen the world with such clarity.

I just got a 32 inch Pensonic (not Panasonic) at NCCC Mall in Davao City. It is 720p, but good enough till later, when I start using it as a computer monitor. I have Cignal satellite service. Lots of good movies, but no hockey. I have to stream that on my new Mac Book Pro, with retina display. It works for me.

I am not so much into TV, but I have G-sat which is all I want. I could, however, use a better monitor. I assume that monitors, as in computer, will work OK for TV, as long as they have Video and audio input jacks.

Good morning....I recall reading some time ago an article which discussed the optimum size for a TV based on the distance from the primary viewing seats..I guess it’s similar to having to sit too close to a movie screen. If anyone has a link, or any info, I’d appreciate it..
