Hubble Looks but Finds No Trace of Comet ISON
universetoday.com ^ | December 20, 2013 | Bob King on

On December 18, the Hubble Space Telescope slewed to Comet ISON’s expected position and found nothing down to the incredibly faint magnitude of 25. According to astronomer Hal Weaver, who planned the ISON search, that limit implies any remaining fragments would have to be smaller than about 500 feet (160 meters) in diameter.

NICMOS on the Hubble is down. NEOWISE IS the ticket for infrared observations, even though its sensitivity is degraded. Incidentally, it was conveniently brought out of mothballs in September. Finding anything with the Sun as backdrop is tough as evidenced by previously unknown asteroids observed after flyby.

When one uses an image and claims it is something else entirely to create fear and panic, he is a liar of the worst sort.

Where are those Earthshattering comet fragments?

Anyone checked lately to see what that Nibiru believing heretic is blathering about now? Any more doctored pleiadean pictures being foisted off as Ison? Maybe he's discovered a new threat from his aliens in New Mexico?

But due to my extreme diligence, I have successfully located Ison. See for your self..

Ison cometpocalypse is supposedly tomorrowish.
Expect the date to wiggle around.
New “predictions” and “revelations” to appear and then a quiet shuffle to the next fear du jour.

the next fear du jour.

Would it have anything to do with the 16 foot tall aliens hiding in the mountain in New Mexico, or wherever it is?

Ah, bpearthwatch’s “reptoid brothers”?
Who knows.
On Dec 28, 2011 YD29 will make a close approach.
6.1 lunar distance.
Perhaps some abject panic over that.

Without a doubt since that's only a hair over a million miles - much closer than the .4 AU that the 'Isonids' will come.

Wait a minute - 2011?? Well, we must all be dead then!

Yeah.
Elenin killed us all in 2011 already.
It must be a siiiign!

I’m not holding my breath that any of the “comet (whatever) is really (insert insane claim here) and will kill us all” crowd will admit they are wrong.

Well, you have my apologies.
So far, nothing has happened.
But that does NOT mean that we should NOT BE alert.
The questioned I presented in comment #20 are sill valid, as far as I'm concerned.

Vigilance does not equal panic or scaremongering.
Or trying to equate a shotgun with orbital mechanics.
The two are not equal.

I'm not trying to "panic or scaremonger".
And after further reswearch, my "appology" might have been premature.

Follow is my summary of BPEarthWatch's December 27, 2013 video.
It ain't over yet.

And, also view this.

Also check out AMS Fireball Report #3435a by Dan M. at San diego, CA, US, Geo Loc. 32.9373988° | -117.2402855° at 05:10 UTC and 21:10 PST.
That sounds like Ison's debris to me.

What do you think this is?
And what happened to the 6 and a half hours of video from SOHO and LASCO 2 and 3, on Dec 25 22:35 until Dec 26 05:00 of Solar Observation?
But on SDO on Dec 26 at 02:44:56 UT at the 1 minute 57 second mark until 3 minutes and 58 seconds of this link, something affected the Sun that NASA was/is trying to hide.

Was it more of Ison's trailing debris on the inbound path?

Daytime meteor streak: could be sigma serpentid.
Or it could be a quadrantid. (Peak of shower between 28 Dec and 12 Jan. Weak shower)

Current strongest shower radiants are sigma serpentids and December leonis minorids.
December l minorids source is thought to be c/1798 x1
Source of sigma serpentids is unknown.

Saw a slowish moving meteor streak like that on my way to work a couple years back.
Cussed because I didn’t have a camera handy.
Even better, it broke up with a faint flash as the pieces slowed enough to no longer glow.

Just a note - December 29 is drawing to a close. We're still here. But you never know when those aliens in the mountain in New Mexico will take over.. Maybe they're steering the Is on chunks into us and we just can't believe... (Dummies believe Boric Odorko too.)..

On another note - ever notice that EVERYTHING BPErfbotch describes is HUGE, including his photoshoped Pleiades photo. And 'packed full'. And 'growing' - his comments on supposed Is on chunks implies that the chunks are bigger than the initial mass - evolution at work, or else bullplop. And 'coming from where I said it would' even though the pic/vid has no directional reference other than maybe his flittering mouse pointer and his narrative that he hopes you believe.

How long before he finds another 'we're all gonna die' cause?

I note that he is still pushing Herculobus in his recent videos. Howcum none of his viewers are suggesting he be rubber-roomed?
