Our guests from Vandenberg always gave us high grades for readiness.

Too bad they got rid of the 3901st. The dumping of all things SAC was a portent of the trouble now.

Riding the pony while in the MPT was an occurrence I watched from the cab now and then I do not recall ever knowing someone cheating on a T1 or Codes test.

From waht I hear in the field today the morale is so much worse than the 70s and 80s when I pulled Alerts. It seems the squadrons pull the crew members in for additional duties and make-work on most of their days off during the month. The complaints are they may have just one or two days off each month.

Its all part of the overall plan to diminish the capability of our military. Odumbo has his targets picked and needs the military out of the way.

“A nation can survive its fools and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within.
An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and he carries his banners openly against the city. But the traitor moves among those within the gates freely, his sly whispers rustling through all alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself.
For the traitor appears no traitor; he speaks in the accents familiar to his victim, and he wears their face and their garments and he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men.
He rots the soul of a nation; he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of a city; he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist.
A murderer is less to be feared. The traitor is the plague.”

- Marcus Tullius Cicero, Roman Orator - 106-43 B.C.

Every launch crew member I’ve met have been half nuts, in proportion only second to pararescuers.

Those are some serious crazies!

Thanks. That made a lot more sense.

I have a relative that was in the silos and his stories, the few he could ever tell, were chiiiiiilling. Each one could have been a full length movie.

I was an assistant ops officer in the 66th, chief of ops/plans and an Ops Controller in the old 4th ACCS from 85-90. One of my best assignments.

Why not Minot? Spent almost 4 years there as a missileer. Freezing is only one of the reasons.

Some strange things happened here and there. I was on alert both times the Norad computers sent false launch indications in 79 and 80. Those were adrenaline pumpers without a doubt.

What is going on?

Nothing to worry about, he's simply replacing our entire military command and control with loyal Muzzie/Commie folks.

no offnse, if obama is purging these are just made up excuses. average non-mil person can’t know for sure they are or aren’t true.

This might be legacy prep work:

After the demise of Obamacare, it’s possible there won’t be a SINGLE THING Obama will later be able to point to as an enduring legacy.

In the movie 2016 Dinesh D’Souza suggested that the last thing Obama will announce from the end of his second term will be the unilateral nuclear disarmament of the USA.

With this scandal and other firings, he can call the US nuke force “an organization that is deeply troubled” or some B.S. like that.

This is all a guess.

Or, there is a purge of key personnel to support some upcoming nuke event.

Which do you think is the most likely "nuke event":

1. Nukes used to stop a military uprising.
2. Nukes used to punish "uncooperative" conservatives (like Stalin starving millions of farmers).
3. Nukes used to fake a "terrorist" attack in order to justify martial law.

The islamist communist occupying the White House is capable of any of these actions. Rather than be concerned about collateral damage, he would rejoice in it and plan to kill as many "bitter clingers" as possible. He doesn't plan on leaving in January 2017. The only bright side to that is that Hillary will be very disappointed.
