Apparently, 31-years-old Willis created six Craigslist ads under false name, pretending to be his female neighbor, who is known as Dawn. The ads caused several naked men to visit his neighbor's house, only to find out she wasn't the person who made the online requests for sex.
The campaign to send naked men to his neighbor began in November 2012. Luckily, the police caught up with him soon after.

this is why stupid ought to hurt.
It should have been a harsher punishment, considering just how badly that could have gone down.
It went about the way any rational person could easily foresee.
A Jr High level prank...what a dick!
Curious that there are people out there who would show up naked in response to an ad-any ad-on the internet.
Makes you wonder what forces will be unleashed during a genuine crisis...we need to be better armed.
It should qualify as ID theft.
wrong?
Isn’t that exactly what he was hoping would happen?
So you read an ad and show up at a house NAKED? There is a whole lot of stupid going down in this story.
That this 31 year old DWEEB did this asinine “prank” clearly warrants a good old fashioned beat-down, but I can say that the would be “Romeos” that showed up at this poor gals home aren’t any better. They also deserve a good ass-kicking, too.
The guys showing up to this woman’s house are just as depraved as the guy who posted the Craigslist “joke.”
And what is this “30 months without internet” sentence? Give him some prison time with guys who haven’t seen a woman in a while, and let’s see how funny he thinks his joke on his neighbor is then.
” The ads caused ...”
No. The ads did not cause anything. Assorted a$$holes read the ads and acted of their own volition.
So if I take an ad out saying jump off the empire state building and people do it but I’m the idiot? He’s just thinking the herd and identifying sexual deviants.
My thoughts exactly.
Ads have been posted on Craigslist many times giving an address and saying that everything is free, just come on in and help yourself.
People show up and start loading TVs and furniture. Then are shocked if anybody objects.
(Shaking head in disbelief.)
This was no prank. Pranks aren’t supposed to endanger anyone else. This was some vindictive act on his part. shudder. If my neighbor did this to me, the police wouldn’t have to worry about him! I’d view it as self defense to be rid of him.
Definitely, the punishment should fit the crime.
The 21st century version of writing her phone number on the men’s room wall?
I agree with you. The best way to enforce 30 months without the internet is to put him in a cell where they don’t have computers.
As for enforcing a no-contact order with women, from what I gather of this guy, that sentence is already a lifetime self-imposed sentence.
