OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - An Oklahoma pharmacy has agreed not to provide Missouri with a made-to-order drug for an inmate's execution scheduled for later this month, according to court documents filed Monday.

According to the documents, The Apothecary Shoppe, of Tulsa, will not prepare or provide pentobarbital or any other drug for use in Michael Taylor's execution. The documents ask a judge to dismiss the case that Taylor's lawyers had filed against the pharmacy seeking to stop it from providing the execution drug. A hearing is scheduled for Tuesday.

(snip)

Taylor pleaded guilty to abducting, raping and stabbing to death a 15-year-old Kansas City girl in 1989.

Many heroin addicts have died before they could even take the needle out of their arms. Are you paying attention to that MO?

Look at the hypocracy of liberals.

The object when a phamicist refuses to dispense an abortion pill due to his religious beliefs.

They will applaud this pharmacist for refusing to dispense the drug that also kills.

Give the perp a quadruple dose of Heroin; Feds must have lots to dispose of...use it up. Give the perp a momentary high then a long term “g’bye.”

Michael Taylor (born January 30, 1967) is a Missouri prison inmate on death row, convicted of raping and murdering 15-year-old Ann Harrison after abducting her from a school bus stop in Raytown, Missouri on March 22, 1989.[1] Taylor was aided by Roderick Nunley, also currently on Missouri’s death row for the same crime. Taylor and Nunley, by their own admissions in court, were under the influence of crack cocaine at the time of the crime.[2]

The thing is: when druggists refuse to sell abortion drugs we applaud them. Conscience is conscience.

Why can’t MO provide for itself? No pharmacies?

I was going to suggest they hire a vet, those guys are quick and good at that job. Probably easier than putting down a horse...all this crap about medications is pure bull shit.

they don’t need the vet, just the chemicals, they are essentially the same stuff.

I’ll bet that the pharmacy was on a supplier contract for any special drugs needed for the prison. They probably needed to be qualified for all such drugs and the prison can’t just go to any other supplier. The lawsuit pressured the pharmacy to not provide the drug and the costs might bankrupt the pharmacy. The pharmacy backed down and the prison now has no source. Just a wild guess....
