I am done. This site has broken me. I am as staunch a conservative as you will find. After returning from Iraq, injured and upset, I turned here and found a welcoming community that shared my thoughts. I am a proud Gadsden Flag waiving man of the Tea Party movement. But because I don't think Sarah Palin is as historically important as other GOP women in the past, I am now considered an idiot, a RINO, ass-kisser and whatever negative connotation you can throw my way. This site has changed so much since that dictator want to be became President it sickens me. It's lost its sense of community and has ran off many a good person. Heck even the Tea Party seems to be distorted here.

Depends how one ‘RE’ defines conservative. Because most actual conservatives by the traditional definition here seem to be solidly on the same page.
If we didn’t have the sycophants pushing for RINOs and tearing down people sticking or even ATTEMPTING to stick to principle it wouldn’t be an issue.
Instead people like Palin who are well above the 80% mark get trashed and ‘lesser evils’ that are far below get the backslaps.

She has both been marginalized and ALLOWED herself to become marginalized. She had an opportunity to be far more important than she is...that said, I am glad I voted for her as well (because I certainly had no intention of voting for that McLame fellow)...

I am not the biggest Palin fan.
But I do recognize that at times our enemies use Palin as a proxy for all of us, and that’s when she should be defended. Like it or not, she is the “face” they use to try to demonize Conservatives in general.
Whether or not she’s qualified to be POTUS is whole other discussion.
Nothing disgusts me more than when they attack her family, because I know they aren’t just going after her, they are going after anyone who believes in the things she does.
Come on there are a lot of us who can’t stand Juan Mc, I mean, Sarah Palin.
Personally I’d rather stand my ground even if I’m driven out than let the hyenas goad me into leaving.
Sarah was there supporting you when a lot of republicans turned their backs on the military and caved to the liberals. Maybe if people like you had returned the favor and supported her, this country might be turning itself around.

I have some very misguided family members who take delight in attacking nearly every member of the Palin family. When challenged, not one of them can defend their words and/or deny that they are based in a illogical, leftist-media driven hatred for the woman herself. Such is the mind of a liberal.
