That’s about as good as the scene in the Monty Python movie where they were justifying the float test to determine if someone was a witch.

There are doctrinal problems with _intelligent_ life on other planets, though.

Why should they suffer for Adam’s sin?
Would Christ have to visit each planet and die for them as well?
What about “once for all” and “it is finished” - were we the last planet on which He died for sin?

I simply do not understand what possesses these people into thinking that inserting Obama into their show will somehow “help” them. Jimmy Fallon did it. Cosmos did it. Yeah, it may give Obama a rise, but 55% of the country can't stand the guy, so right off the bat you shout out that you are just another run-of-the-mill Obama stooge and that gives half the country a reason to tune you out.

And then what are you left with? Some portion of the other half of the country that may be regular viewers.

For the life of me, I cannot understand the strategy of inserting Obama. It's as if they feel they all need to pay homage to Obama and this is their way of doing it, almost like a religious observance ritual. Weird.

It depends what “fact” evolution is..it does exist in I can show change to adapt. .in fact I would say it even biblical. .from to flood to Sodom and Gomorrah ..God has culled out the wicked to improve the species

But is evolution “fact” for creation of all species?..no it not provable and no period

First for prove..well man currently is creating new species things like frankenfood and as a science improves we will create more and more new species so created species will exist so how do you distinguish in 1000 years between created species and evolve species? If you have no test now for created vs evolved how can you test what happened in the past to prove created vs evolve. You can assume but you can't prove all species evolved. Assume is not scientific proof.

Second not all species evolved as a fact.

The theory of evolution has one critical component, it must act on existing life. It does not explain the creation of life. Life that by definition has to have a second mechanism that creates and therefore created the first species therefore evolution did not create every species ....that's a fact

“I totally disagree. OK, THEY might take that as a “another” nail, but that would be an erroneous conclusion. God can put life on any planet he wants.”

So far, however, looks like he didn’t.

Good . . . wonder why

1. Day one was Obambi's introduction of the series (wish he and his obnoxious wife would stop showing up all over the place)

2. Evolution talk about Man's million years' journey from slime in a pool (we lumbered around for a few mil trying to evolv from them apes, ya' know)

3. Whole thing done by an avowed atheist

4. There will undoubtedly be no mention of God's design of the Cosmos (kinda' just happened, ya' know, by chance)

But don't worry . . . H'wood will drown the series with big time awards next year, kinda' to shove it in our face.

Anyone who wanted to know how this series would end up, a series pushed by the abominable Seth McFarlane, only needs to watch the "Cartoon Wars" episodes of South Park.

It's all just manatees with beach balls.

The Christian Church created the University system.

I'm all for inclusions but is there a reason you mention the Catholic Church in your next sentence but cut Her out of the credit for this? It wasn't all Christians of whatever viewpoint... it was the Catholic Church which gave us the university system... and hospitals... and the courts... and...

Venus is so hot because Venusians driving around in SUVs....

Has nothing to do with the fact that Venus lacks plate tectonics...

Or just plain a much thicker atmosphere in general. At the same pressure height, the Venusian atmosphere is roughly the same temperature as Earths’.

As soon as I saw that the that made Family Guy did this, I swore to never watch it.

I’ve been an amateur astronomer for 30 years and I am so sick of this attempt to use science to push agendas by people that wouldn’t know a Covalent bond from James Bond.

Hope this show continues to tank.Nothing but a cheesy reboot for hipsters desperate to look “smart”.

Any REALLY good science program will be as ready to admit the things we DON’T know, as it is ready to explain the things we do know.

There is literally ZERO evidence for evolution. There is no example anywhere that would show how a frog became a lizard, became a mouse, became a monkey, became a man.

There are piles and hills of evidence for ADAPTATION, but not evolution. The problem with adaptation is that adaptation can’t be explained very readily by agnostics either. It looks like a miracle, which it may be, but at LEAST we can isolate, someday, the process by which we internalize lessons about survival in our environment and pass those through our genetic material across generations.

Yes, in the beginning Obama was an asset. For the past few years he has been a liability, the so-called brainiacs don’t seem to grasp this.

Even Wikipedia:
“Beginning in 1593, Bruno was tried for heresy by the Roman Inquisition on charges including denial of the Trinity, denial of the divinity of Christ, denial of virginity of Mary, and denial of Transubstantiation. The Inquisition found him guilty, and in 1600 he was burned at the stake.[5]

After his death he gained considerable fame, particularly among 19th- and early 20th-century commentators who, focusing on his astronomical beliefs, regarded him as a martyr for free thought and modern scientific ideas.[6] However, scholars note that Bruno’s ideas about the universe played a small role in his trial compared to his pantheist beliefs, which differed from the interpretations and scope of God held by the Catholic Church.[7][8]”

Giordano Bruno was burned at the stake for supporting geocentrism...

No. He was burned at the stake for being a Catholic clergyman who held and taught pantheistic views. People keep wanting to make these issues about science. It wasn't the science part... it was the religious heresy (and teaching others heresy) that warranted eradication.

I took it in for about 10 minutes on the opening program, and had to leave.

Was like watching a “Where is Waldo?” episode, except Where is Waldo had a better managed plot.

I used to subscribe to National Geographic years ago and dropped it after it became nothing more than a propaganda piece for global warming and the devastation caused by the USA.

Cut her out of credit? You may not consider the Catholic church part of the Christian Church but I do.
