He is 91 years old. A lot of those laws were passed in the 70’s on up. A friend of mine had a collection of all sorts of old farm and ranching stuff. You would be amazed at the stuff people would give him to add to his collection.

I’m willing to stipulate that I greatly benefited from taking a course in EE where we went though the content of the four semesters of basic Electrical Engineering in a largely qualitatively way, but had a Lab.

I used to live in Indiana. The field next door was once the site of a significant trading village. Every spring we would walk the field and find all kinds of Indian items. Everyone I knew back then had a collection of some type.

The FBI has around 100 agents at the farm...

Thank God that these agents are on the job protecting us from domestic enemies like this who are definitely a threat to all Americans. < /s>

91 year olds who have stones and bones are a threat to society. Good thing these agents were here instead of Fort Hood today.

Not saying he did any of that....but that is the type of thing they mean. I am willing to be the has Native American stuff from reservations. That is a big no no.

Yes, but ONLY 100 Fibbies for a 91-year-old guy?

Perhaps they could have mobilised the 101st Airborne, several SEAL teams, and a couple of brigades from an armored division.

Oh, and the entire Indiana National Guard.

These days...hang on to your receipts!

In a tyranny, everyone is a criminal, except for the government, and anyone who is part of the government.

If it’s true , then they must really feel like f troop or should!

If they’ve got so many pencil neck geeks on staff that they can send 100 on a lousy snark hunt like this then it’s time for mgmt to start laying people off.

If displaying Indian bric-à-brac is this big of a deal then the laws need to be rewritten. Too much deference is given to the Indians in law already.

In Central KY there was a large Indian burial ground off limits to diggers. Over one weekend it was the site of a massive dig. I knew my friends hobby was Indian artifacts. Putting 2 + 2 together called his house spoke to the wife and he was gone, gone, gone. Never heard from him or of him again. Still wonder what happened to him. Heard the stuff that went amiss was worth a ton. Several newspaper articles at the time.
Sometimes a mans got to do what a mans got to do.

I wonder if this is really about nuclear material? The tent structures include an interesting ventilation system.

Government goons jealous somebody actually did something. There in droves to dismantle it completely. Effing ghouls. Once they remove him of his ‘possibly potentially maybe likely conceivably stolen/improperly obtained’ material, the place will be Waco’d.

It was on the news last night but didn’t make much sense because there were many gaps in the story. They did say that he had more than American Indian artifacts. There were Italian & others but if he was letting people tromp through his home & look @ the stuff he obviously didn’t understand it wasn’t legal to have in his possession.

Now I have to wonder about our Gov’t when they raid & confiscate the home of a 91 yr old man? Why not wait until he passes on except now he probably will in the middle of all this. Maybe this was a death panel decision.
