Study links California drought to global warming

A new study is asserting a link between climate change and both the intensifying California drought and the polar vortex blamed for the recent harsh winter. […]

The new study blames an unusual combination of a strong Western high pressure ridge and deep Great Lakes low pressure trough. And it says that is linked to a recently found precursor to El Niño, the world-weather changing phenomenon. And that precursor itself seems amplified by a build-up of heat-trapping greenhouse gases. …

I sometimes question if, while Democratic lawmakers have been supporting illegal immigrants because of their potential as Democratic voters, legal or illegal, have these power-hungry Democrats been overlooking that water resources needed to be expanded to accomodate immigrants that Democrats have been getting friendly with?

In other words, California may be dry because of PC global warming, or because illegal, Constitution-ignorant immigrants are helping to drink an obsolete, Democrat-neglected water system dry.

Again, this is speculation on my part because I don’t know squat about water resouces management.

All I want to know from the Global Warming alarmists is what will happen if scientists are wrong(again) but this time they cool the earth too much?

What is their risk assessment and backout plan?

... if scientists activists are wrong(again) ...

What risk assessment and blackout plan? Betcha there are no such plans. And if such is the case, that's why I question if Democrats had even thought about expanding water resources while they welcomed illegal immigrants.

A drought destroyed the Four Corners (Chaco Canyon culture) in PreColumbian times, iow, this isn’t a study, it’s agitprop. Thanks Olog-hai.

Ron Paul: [snip] It is clear that the earth experiences natural cycles in temperature. However, science shows that human activity probably does play a role in stimulating the current fluctuations. [/snip]
