When my father was a child he used to sit on the kitchen floor with my grandmother and they would modify matchsticks to become tiny rockets. They would shoot them inside and leave tiny scorch marks on the walls. Grant Thompson, the self-proclaimed “King of Random,” has compiled a fantastic project that steps this up about 1,000 notches. Alas, it’s a project far far beyond the meager capabilities of the MSM class and the White House (no class whatsoeveer).

Grew up making the matchstick guns and playing with kitchen matches. A match head lighting off when it’s suck under your fingernail is the best education about playing with fire a kid could have.

hell, that's nothing, when i was a kid we used to make tennis ball shooters from beercans and lighter fluid... and if you wanted to be real nasty, you squirted lighter fluid all over the ball before you touched it off!!!

but that was 50 years ago

yeah, but for me, lighter fluid was cheaper and MUCH more readily available...

the hairspray already being volatilized/aerosolized was the cats azz for sure
