I had a thought a while back and decided to post it:
There is a side of me that feels like I time travelled back to the 1970's. Let's face it, like then, we have a horrible economy, an inept President, gas (and energy in general) prices are high, we have a weakened military, Islamic radicals causing trouble, the Russians are invading their neighbors and we have Jerry "Governor Moonbeam" Brown as governor of California.
I wish I’d kept my Nik-Nik shirts....and my hair.
The only thing that made that miserable decade bearable for me was Farrah Fawcett, and sadly she’s not here for the reprise.
Reset the wayback machine for a better time and a better place.
This is exactly what happens when a particular crowd of criminals is in charge.
...and they’re coming out with a new Star Wars next year. It IS the 1970s all over again.

I wish I kept a lot of stuff from then. I got to quit posting here and do my food shopping, so time to put in some KISS into the 8-Track and go. B-)

This brings back a memory. I was doing the dishes in another room with the TV on in the living room. Governor Brown was giving a speech. It made no sense. I stopped what I was doing and went in to listen. There he was, the governor of California, giving a televised speech and CLEARLY stoned out of his gourd. Not one sentence made sense and nobody commented on it. I was astonished.

Now the biggest communist nation on earth is China, and the biggest economy on earth is (soon to be) China.

The 1970s was a horrible decade.
But it looks like heaven, compared to the degenerate, freak-show Homo-America of today. No kids being suspended back then for nibbling pop-tarts into the shape of a gun. No convicted traitor being given expensive sex-change treatments on taxpayers’ dimes. American Bandstand might have had some creepy singers, but at least no Miley Cyrus with a foam finger. No perverted faggot football players slobbering and giving tongue-baths on national television.
1970s, a rancid decade. But 2014, America has become an all-out, vomitous insane asylum.
