Can you tell the difference?

The original reason many supported abortion, was because of rape or incest. Forty years later less than 1 percent of the more than 1 million abortions in the US, occur because of rape or incest.

Please tell me what the child did to deserve death in those two circumstances, because as far as God is concerned, to support abortion under any circumstance is still murder.

Around the world there has been more than 1.5 BILLION babies have been aborted worldwide in the past 50 years. An estimated 50 million abortions are carried out throughout the world every year. One in five pregnancies worldwide end in abortion. 42% of all deaths in the world every year are from abortion. That means that every two seconds a baby is aborted. That's right, every time your heartbeats an unborn baby is murdered.

And we claim the Roman Empire was barbaric.

Please pray for this genocide to end.

Aborting a child conceived in rape is a strange way to mitigate a crime.

Its like executing all the witnesses who happened to be in a bank when it was robbed.

This story in the New York Post tells about a woman who was raped. She had the baby and gave it up for adoption. The daughter went on to have a son who became an astronaut and flew four space missions. The book is The Waiting and it tremendous.

I do. The South is making great strides in ending abortion.

(How ironic that the feminist left’s mantra is “keep your hands of my body”, yet they are trying to force everyone to tolerate their having absolute control over everyone else’s via 0bamacare & subsequently, forcing taxpayers to financially support abortion-on-demand.)

Indeed, I don’t see why the rape is the fault of the baby. Nor incest, if that really is a problem.

The left has been winning for a long time by using an emotional appeal to get what they want.

In the case of abortion I will probably get a lot of heat, but I can see the argument for it with rape, incest, and disease. I realize the baby is innocent, but isn't the mother as well in cases of rape and incest? In the case of disease I can see an argument for it where there is no hope and the baby will suffer in the extreme.

I don’t understand why “rape and incest” is a pair. Incest is either rape - forcible or statutory - or it’s consensual sex between adults.

I think it’s just an excuse for abortion on demand, which benefits the perpetrator rather than the victim.

I agree that the best thing is to have the baby and let a loving couple adopt if the mother doesn't want the baby. However, what about the girl. What if she doesn't have the emotional strength to see it through. What if she is in a hysterical panic. The girl in the case of rape or incest has already been brutalized.

I think the woman who carries the baby to term is heroic, but not all women have that kind of strength.

Given that American blacks have a much larger percentage of abortions than whites, what impact has that had on American racial balances, and is said impact good or bad?
