Yoko's Latest Advice-Tweet; " Count All the Words In The Book w/o Reading Them..."

I just saw Yoko Ono's latest Advice Tweet; "Count All The Words In The Book Without Reading Them, Count All The Objects In The Room Without Classifying Them." My first impluse was to roll my eyes, shrug and say, There she goes again. I still have that reaction to some degree, but it's not as simplistic and vacuous as may first appear. What may appear as an unfettered indulgence of somewhat with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, could also be seen an a cerebral exercise of the imagination. A 'jumping off point' for conventional, linear logic, if you will. Then again, she may just be playing with the public again, contemptuously testing their level of tolerance. "How crazy can I get, and still be called a genius or the true Muse of John Lennon?" I'm sure Yoko will devise a new test for us very soon. Be ready!

Why would I spend several hours or perhaps a day or two counting words in a book while struggling not to see them?

There may not be much difference between the New Testament and Qur’an, if you count their words.

It isn’t new “advice”. It’s “We’re All Water”.

Don’t worry Kyoko

Mummy’s only looking for her hand in the snow.

Sounds like a good way to read “Dreams From My Father”. :)

Perhaps Yoko should count her wealth...one dollar at a time. There, I can be profound too.

As far as I’m concerned Yoko is right up there with Maya Angelou.

I never understood what either one of them was talking about.

Try this one, Yoko: try counting all your dead husbands millions without spending any.

Put on a Yoko record and try not to listen to it. (Ear plugs would be advisable)

I think it was George Harrison who commented that watching the Spice Girls with the sound off made their act slightly pleasant. That wouldn’t work with Yoko “Oh No!”

Trailer for an “early” (1965) Yoko Ono film (appearance). She first appears at 0:37...

She’s also part of this “happening”.

John Lennon was on LSD watching it on television and he went down to the event while it was still “happening”.

I can easily believe she was the muse for Lennon’s dreadful later songs.

Speaking of dreams, I've had a few weird ones that involve Google search.

For some reason, when I do Google search in a dream, I immediately wake up. Has anybody else experienced this?

The last dream I had, I was sitting at a table with a female co-worker and somebody handed me some advertising artwork to sign off on. As I went to sign off on it, my co-worker looked at me and asked me if I knew what the name of the girl on "Mad Men" was who started as a secretary and worked her way up to copywriter.

I knew who she was but could not think of her name, even though I've seen the show and should know it, so I went into Google and did a search on "Mad Men" and "copywriter". My co-worker was really counting on me to come up with the answer and she was looking at me with her dewy eyes in anticipation. In fact, my co-worker looked JUST LIKE the girl on the show but I could not come up with her name.

As soon as I typed in the terms and hit ENTER, I woke up and I was lying in my bed. Then I lied in bed and tried to think of her name that way. Eventually, I came up with the name "Peggy Olsen" and closed my eyes to re-enter my dream.

Alas, I was not able to get back into that dream, which was quite frustrating as I now had the answer and I really wanted to impress that female co-worker who looked just like Peggy Olsen. It was so frustrating.

There were other times that doing a Google search in a dream woke me up. So irritating.
