CONCORD, N.H. — For weeks, Rick Santorum has tried to shake every last hand in Iowa and New Hampshire. Lindsey Graham has been shuttling up to New Hampshire almost every other weekend to meet with small groups of voters. Carly Fiorina and Rick Perry have been getting rave reviews from their crowds in a number of the early states.

This is actually a pretty substantial article, at least as far as what it covers.

But I see no need for the Trump slam in paragraph 4:

"It’s the [Donald] Trump problem,” said Florida GOP strategist Rick Wilson. “He’s an entirely un-serious candidate but one with very serious name ID.”

I think the goal of the elections, is to decide who is serious, who is a good candidate, and what to do.

That is not Politico's job.

Politico didn’t say it, they quoted a GOP strategist who made a completely accurate statemenstatement.Trump has no intention or running, he’s just getting attention at Republicans expense. You acknowledged this yourself. You said you would not bet money he will run. You know he has no intention to run.

Actually I believe Trump (will) run this time.

I’m not a betting man however.

There was no need for the Trump slam. None whatsoever.

If a potential candidate can’t stay conservative enough about issues like US jobs and stopping the invasion of the US and getting the economy back on track, I’m glad Donald Trump will be there to get the votes of those who care about those issues.

This is how the GOPe skews the primaries: They hold the early primaries in the most liberal states. So by the time it gets to Texas there is no point in voting because the nominations are wrapped up. And we get RINO’s.

All of the primaries should be on the same day.

All that said, voting is useless at this point. We need a civil war.

We need a civil war.

Let us hope it does not come to that. BUT, if the GOPe is able to get a RINO swish as the candidate, that will accelerate the incivilities. America is tired of the GOPe. America is tired of unresponsive elected leaders. Time for a BIG change.

Well, if everyone is convinced that Trump is not going to run, then there is no Trump high name recognition getting him into the top ten on stage, is there? Because he obviously won’t be there. Or are there those that are secretly worried that he might actually run? Relax, you all are sure he won’t.

Meantime he’s trying to destroy the Republicans. In 2011 and 2012 he did everything he could to get Obama reelected.

“... he’s just getting attention at Republicans expense. You know he has no intention to run.”

Why does that thought offer so much comfort to so many on this site? It is self-perpetuating: Trump, a billionaire, just wants some media exposure. He has such a delicate self-esteem, he needs to feast on all that media hate like an addict. I like what Trump has been saying for years, he says it where anyone can understand it, and pulls no punches. I hope he runs, but I’ll have to wait and see. I don’t know. I do know that the Republican senators who voted for a SECRET bill giving OBAMA more POWER and AUTHORITY will never, ever, get my vote again. It was treason. The freakin’ bill was kept secret!!!!!! I can’t wait to pin my senators against the wall at a town meeting. They will have to say it was a good bill. How in the hell does anyone know? Someone please enlighten me. Again, these fools vote for a SECRET bill!!!!!

I have to wonder...what type of crowd could find Governor Mumbles when he speaks, to be impressive?
