Happy Wednesday!

Posted on 06/24/2015 6:56:19 AM PDT by Lazamataz

I have come to the conclusion that the disease that is called 'humanity' must not be allowed to infect the rest of the galaxy.

We are an incredibly-flawed species, filled with lust and avarice and anger and greed, given to revenge and gossip and violence and hate. That God still loves us is something that demonstrates something about HIM, not us.

Most humans yearn for freedom and to be left alone, but others want to control and censor and manipulate and rule over us.

There have been four great experiments in having a nation that has, as its primary focus, freedom for the individual citizen: Ancient Greece, Ancient Rome, post-revolutionary France, and America.... and even of those, three still allowed slaves (America being one)! The most modern example of this experiment is America.

But American freedom is mostly gone, soon to be completely gone... all in the name of 'suppressing hate speech' and 'combating global warming' and 'controlling gun violence' and 'making outcomes equal' and 'forcing citizens to provide for the poor'.

'Making outcomes equal' is the core of communism, and communism has always been the most brutal and oppressive economic and political system on the planet. 'Forcing citizens to provide for the poor' is just a watered-down version of the same, and prevents people and institutions from being able to give of free will.

Since we always seem to trend towards the destruction of individual liberty -- since we almost always, in human history, exist under some tyrant or monarch or king, or some panel or committee or politburo ....

.... I have changed my view from the Star Trek Utopian vision I used to have.

Mankind must be erased from the universe as the disease that it is.

This is written somewhat tongue-in-cheek, somewhat like the great satirical piece "A Modest Proposal" by Jonathon Swift, but it is intended to provoke discussion on the flawed nature of mankind and express my serious feelings about the seemingly hopeless nature of governments and humans.

I agree that governments and humanity are in deep trouble.

We are not hopeless though. There is hope in Christ himself. Without that we are completely lost.

I firmly believe that if our countries put God first in everything we did, we’d be great again.

Jesus, the Infinite Self Knowledge of the Great “I AM”, was born, lived and died for us.

And another thing.

Who are you to say it's Wednesday?

How about folks who feel it's really Monday or Saturday? HUH?

Don't be such a calendar H8er.

That fact that we have failed in the past shows our flaws.
The fact that we always try again shows our aspirations.
It's a hopeful sign.

This is EXACTLY the point I think I am trying to lead the reader to. My rather bleak missive is written in the vein of "A Modest Proposal" -- an outrageous, edgy piece intended to make people think a little.

Free will means that there is the freedom to be a turd, or to be great. The vast majority of humans are not outstanding either way. A small number is a disgrace, like the subhuman in Charleston. A smaller number is truly great and a credit to the race.

This is something that spurred me to write this missive. The transgender, transracial stuff... it's trans-reality.
