Kimberley Strassel: Trump Is the Ultimate Insider
The Wall Street Journal via Investor Village ^ | February 25, 2016 | Kimberley A. Strassel

Posted on 02/26/2016 10:04:52 AM PST by EveningStar

There's an old saying that "to catch a fish, you need to think like a fish." And there's a modern translation of that for today's GOP: To beat a Donald, you need to think like a Trumpvoter.

We don't know if Mr. Trump is unstoppable, because nobody has actually gone after him. To the extent his Republican rivals have nipped at his heels, they've done it in obvious, conventional ways. They've argued he's not a real conservative. They've pointed to his lack of policies. They've worried about his temperament and electability. Those arguments probably do resonate with the 50% or 60% of the primary electorate who--obviously and conventionally--care about principles, and winning.

But those arguments don't speak to Trump supporters. The Nevada entrance polls show the billionaire won voters who are angry with the federal government, who want an "outsider" in the office and who want "change." They don't care about policies. They want someone to "stick it to the man."

What a load of rubbish. They've tried everything but locking Trump in a cage for a MMA match, not to mention the media on both sides hammering him for nearly a year.

Rush today saying The RUBE or Cruzifer could have taken out Trump anytime they wanted to! Guess they are low energy and can’t think enough on their feet to actually carry out the feat!
BTW It’s Cruz and Rubio who have funded for obama Planned Parenthood throughout most of this year! Yeah for the Baby Killers!

The most important takeaway from the debate came right after the debate:

The Great Conservative has now SWERVED to support the 8Gang Cabana Boy.

Cruz is now the Great Conswervative.

Trump is a major lobbyist.

He has given more money for influence than probably most people who walk the halls of Congress.

He is a major player and yet somehow he makes people think that he is fighting the establishment, when he is establishment.

Tis a YUGE mystery.

Kimberley should take the time to read Peggy Noonan’s column from today. After she wipes the spittle from her reading glasses, of course.

Always remember that The Wall Street Journal is a mouthpiece of The Cheap Labor Express.

They are desperate to block us from electing a President who would put them out of business.

Supporting a statement and supporting the maker of the a statement are far different.

“in the Soviet Army, it takes more courage to retreat than advance”

I support and agree with the statement above. Does that mean I support Stalin ? Nope.

... voters who are angry with the federal government, who want an "outsider" in the office and who want "change." They don't care about policies. They want someone to "stick it to the man ..."

... which of course is exactly what the Democrats in 2008 and 2012 thought and did. So what the heck, it the sorta 'conservative' wing of the Republican party's turn to attempt the same idiocy to see if they have it right ... naturally, they expect something close to divine miracles to descent on them an theirs ...

Another WSJ hit article as ordered by Rupert Murdoch.

This is as valid as their famous WSJ/NBC NH/SC push polls posing as real polls. You, know, the ones posted by the Cruzlosers several times each day in the past couple of weeks.

Under the guidance of Murdoch, the WSJ has lost about 50% of its value.

After this year, its value will be same as its validity re the Trump hit bs like this faux article.

The Great Conservative has now SWERVED to support the 8Gang Cabana Boy.

Cruz and Rubio are looking to become uber-rich peddling their influence to the highest bidder. I don’t worry about that with Trump because he is already there. If Trump’s not the candidate, I’m not voting. Period.
