Planned Parenthood Abortion Biz Recently Closed a Clinic, What It Left Behind is Shocking

It seems tougher by the hour for Planned Parenthood to rationalize its long-held motto, “Care. No Matter What.”

That steep task just got harder this week, amid revelations that a shuttered Planned Parenthood abortion clinic in Iowa broke client confidentiality by leaving behind personal health information (PHI) records for over 2,500 of its former clients.

In early May, a Dubuque office affiliated with Planned Parenthood of the Heartland completed the sale of its property to Clarity Clinic, a local pregnancy help organization, and left behind a closet full of patient files that took Planned Parenthood staff 10 days to come and pick up.

“All the keys that were for that closet were given to me, and I contacted a lawyer regarding it,” Clarity Clinic executive director Kris Nauman said. “He said, ‘Don’t let anyone have access to that closet, and don’t look at anything in that closet.’ I said, ‘I won’t,’ and that was what we did. We kept it locked and confidential.”

At the final walk-through May 6, Nauman alerted Planned Parenthood’s real estate agent of the abandoned patient files and then watched as the agent called the Heartland office to make them aware of the breach.

When Planned Parenthood failed to make contact with Nauman in the days that followed, she and her staff reported the issue to a state agency and her local police department on the advice of Clarity Clinic’s medical director—an emergency room doctor.

Neither of the governmental agencies responded to Clarity Clinic. Finally, on May 16—a full 10 days after being notified of the deserted patient files—Planned Parenthood sent over a staff member to collect them.

Planned Parenthood of the Heartland published a press release July 1 claiming it “discovered a potential breech” as early as May 6—again, 10 days before they picked up the files.

“It took them 10 days to come pick it up,” Nauman said, noting her organization didn’t move into the building until May 31. “Nobody stole their files, they left them here. We protected the women, because that was our part. Our part is to help women, and we didn’t want to hurt any woman—regardless of what she came here to do. I hope that shows loud and clear to whoever is listening.”

Representing a minimum of 2,506 violations under the 1996 Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), Planned Parenthood of the Heartland could be liable for $1.5 million per incident—a potential bill of $3.8 billion.

Susan Dammann, a registered nurse and medical specialist for Heartbeat International—a network of over 2,000 pregnancy help locations—stressed the severity of Planned Parenthood’s failure to protect its clients’ personal health information.

“This appears to be gross negligence and a major HIPAA violation of Planned Parenthoods’ duty to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and security of their patients’ personal health information and medical records,” Dammann said. “Violation of privacy, identity breaches, and billing information for financial gain are only some of the concerns when medical records are not protected and secured.”

Notably, even while Planned Parenthood’s staff left its patient files exposed, they meticulously removed everything from the building before vacating—including every fire extinguisher.

“Now you take out all the fire extinguishers, but you leave all those client documents with personal information,” Nauman said.

Making Room for True Care in Dubuque

With their current lease expiring in Dec. 2016, Nauman, who has served with Clarity Clinic since 2008, began praying along with her fellow leaders about a new location for their free ultrasound and STI testing, peer counseling, post-abortion counseling and other services, when Planned Parenthood announced it was closing and looking for a buyer for its facility at the start of 2016.

At just under 4,000 square feet, the former abortion clinic is nearly twice the size of Clarity Clinic’s former location a few blocks away. Even though they’re still on the hook for rent through the end of the year, the possibility of speeding Planned Parenthood’s exit from the city was too good to pass up.

One of several pro-life pregnancy help organizations across the country to open in a closed abortion clinic—including another former Planned Parenthood across the state in Creston, Iowa—Clarity Clinic served upward of 60 clients in their first month at the new space.

“God’s in the house,” Nauman said. “The atmosphere has changed here. Already since we’ve been in the building, there have been lives saved. We’re just doing our mission. We pray for those people that work with Planned Parenthood who were associated with this problem, and pray that the people who were involved and had their things left behind, that God protects them.”

It has begun to leak out that some young women patronizing these "PP health clinics" for abortions have also been sexually abused by abortionists. These places are hotbeds for potential sexual abuse. The lowlife abortionist has already sold out his conscience. So having power over young vulnerable women creates an ideal climate for sexual abuse.

<><>Another angle to explore: many of these women are minors impregnated by older men........a crime right there.

We need data on the number of underage women being aborted...that could lead to data on underage women being sexually molested by an abortionist.

New York AG uses abortion clinic escort to fraudulently spy on pro-lifers
LIVE ACTION NEWS ^ | Feb 20, 2018 | Cassie Fiano / FR Posted on 2/26/2018 by Morgana

Tyler Brooks, an attorney for the Thomas More Law Center, uncovered some startling information during cross-examination at a hearing held by U.S. Federal District Court Judge Carol Bagley Amon. The hearing would determine whether or not New York State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman’s request for an injunction, which bars pro-life sidewalk counselors from coming within 16 feet of Choices, an abortion facility, will be approved. Brooks was questioning a witness, who admitted to creating a fake Facebook profile, in which she pretended she was a pro-life Christian, to deceive pro-lifers and entrap the sidewalk counselors who would appear in front of Choices. The state attorney’s office was aware of her deception.

During the testimony, the witness admitted to creating a profile under the name of “Shelly Walker.” She stole someone else’s photos, pretended she was a bank teller from Saginaw, Michigan, and even posted about the weather there. She befriended hundreds of pro-lifers, claimed to be a fan of Ted Cruz and Father Frank Pavone, leader of Priests for Life. She claimed to have been pressured into having an abortion by her ex-husband, which was a story she made up to gain sympathy.

The witness is, in reality, not just pro-abortion, but an escort leader for Choices, who solely was looking to gain information about pro-lifers, which she placed in dossiers and gave to the attorney general’s office. Even though they knew about her deceptive activity, they never sought to stop her or reject the information she gave them — even though just three weeks ago, the attorney general boasted about his crackdown on fake identities, fraud, and impersonations online.

Instead, according to a press release, “the [attorney general’s] Office outfitted [the witness with the fake identity] with a concealed video camera to record pro-life counselors in front of Choices.”

Also, according to the press release, the AG held a press conference in June announcing “his lawsuit against fourteen pro-life sidewalk counselors, claiming they violated the federal Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act (“FACE”), the New York State Clinic Access Act and City laws. His lawsuit asked the Court to create a sixteen-foot buffer zone around the Choices premises and to levy fines, attorney fees and compensatory damages against the defendants.” He also shockingly claimed, “We are not a nation where you can choose your point of view,” adding that pro-life Christians “run their mouths” with “unlawful, un-American rhetoric.” Thomas More Law Center counsel Richard Thompson responded by saying, “I’m appalled at the Attorney General’s lack of respect for the First Amendment…. He has forsaken his responsibilities as an independent law enforcement officer and is now acting as an agent of the abortion industry.”

Planned Parenthood of the Gulf Coast paid $4.3 million resolve civil allegations under the False Claims Act, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. That settlement resolved a lawsuit filed by Karen Reynolds, a former medical assistant for a Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast clinic in Lufkin, Texas.

In a statement, the Justice Department said: The government alleges that between 2003 and 2009, Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast billed and was paid by government programs, Texas Medicaid, Title XX, and the Women’s Health Program, for certain items and services related to birth control counseling, STD testing and contraceptives when such items and services were either not medically necessary, not medically indicated or not actually provided.

===========================================

Planned Parenthood connived to dramatically increase revenues by converting a voluntary C-Mail program to a mandatory program. The Iowa clinics eliminated follow-up exams and mailed each client at least a 12-menstrual-cycle supply of contraceptives in three-month increments. To increase profits, Planned Parenthood began sending three prescriptions to clients every 63 days...a 21-day overage.

By the end of 2008, at least 7,000 Medicaid- eligible women were enrolled in the C-Mail contraceptive program. If they moved or refused the pills they'd come back in a brown mailer then sent to inventory. PP would slap on a new sticker and sell them to the next patient.... without ever crediting the first womans account.

=============================================

TWO MAJOR POINTS:

(1) PP CLIENTS FODDER FOR THE LUCRATIVE BABY PARTS INDUSTRY......we need to determine what percentage of women given birth control who later came back for abortions. PP's game seems to be gulling sexually active women into thinking they're protected. The scheme to withhold examinations forces women back into their clinics for abortions....giving PP baby body parts to sell.

(2) GOVT FRAUD BY MAIL----PP using the US mails to pull off govt fraud needs to be reported.

THE PEDOPHILES AMONG US---PLANNED PARENTHOOD IN OUR SCHOOLS K-12 This vile organization exhibits all the signs of avid, organized pedophilia. They are in our schools K-12 sniffing around the genitals of young people. DO THIS NOW demand to know how many of the PP types in your state are connected to pedophilia organizations-——and how many have been convicted of pedophilia.

THE PEDOPHILE CREDO Planned Parenthood Federation of America has proclaimed a "right to sexual enjoyment" as a basic human right for all people, including children, and is pushing that goal in every arena, including schools, community groups, and particularly the United Nations.

PP hires children as young as 14 to promote sex to their peers, and one affiliate recently posted a job listing for a state-funded peer educator position that requires that the teens must attend the annual gay pride parade in order to work for PP. (more below)

===================================

THIS JUST IN----PPhood's newsest atrocity is texting children----a sex “educator” employed by Planned Parenthood—the organization that works constantly to drive a wedge between children and their parents---will be texting your children without your knowledge or consent. When Planned Parenthood of Greater Northern New Jersey held its annual national sex educators’ conference, it promoted a website pushing such resources as “Unequal Partners, Teaching about Power and Consent in Adult-Teen and Other Relationships.” Planned Parenthood is actively involved in trying to push the boundaries that separate and protect children from sexual activity.

While this particular texting program has launched in the Denver area, it may well be a test program with plans for nationwide expansion. Parents must be very vocal in their opposition to Planned Parenthood texting their children. You can monitor your children’s phones for texting by noting the program’s acronym and number. The Planned Parenthood “In Case You’re Curious” contact info is obtained by texting ICYC to 66746.

===============================

PLANNED PARENTHOOD SEXUALIZING CHILDREN-—---FODDER FOR PEDOPHILES

(CNSNews.com) – By the time they leave elementary school, children should be able to “define sexual orientation,” and by the eighth grade be able to “define emergency contraception and its use,” according to a report containing controversial new recommendations for sex education in U.S. public schools.

“Ideally, comprehensive sexuality education should start in kindergarten and continue through 12th grade,” says the “National Sexuality Education Standards” report, drawn up by a range of advocates, academics and public education officials.

The Future of Sex Education (FoSE), an initiative started by sex education advocates, developed the standards “to create a strategic plan for sexuality education policy and implementation.”

Also involved are the American School Health Association, the National Education Association Health Information Network – the non-profit arm of the nation’s largest teacher’s union, the NEA – the American Association for Health Education and the Society of State Leaders of Health and Physical Education.

An advisory committee includes senior officials from Planned Parenthood and the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN).

Planned Parenthood may have left the files there due to laziness, or it may have been a deliberate attempt to bait a Pro-Life advocate into reading the files, then officially acting on that illegally obtained information. Style before substance.

If that were to happen, Planned Parenthood employees could spend much time pretending to have been ‘victimized by the other side’s breach of confidence.
Yes, it sounds ridiculously petty, but not out of the question, as a way of putting Pro-Lifers on the defensive, albeit temporarily.

Planned Parenthood’s top 7 donors gave staggering $324 million in four years
LifeSiteNews ^ | 8/3/15 | Alatheia Larsen / FR Postedby wagglebee

Reprinted with permission from NewsBusters.

July 31, 2015 (NewsBusters) -- In response to a series of incriminating under-cover videos from The Center for Medical Progress about the major abortion provider, organizations have been cutting ties -- or denying ties -- to Planned Parenthood. But where nonprofits are concerned, tax records keep the story straight. Between 2010 and 2013, no fewer than 966 individual organizations donated to Planned Parenthood. Of those, 31 gave more than $1 million each during those four years, totaling $374,199,059. The seven highest donors made up $324.8 million of that.

These largest Planned Parenthood donors include Warren Buffett, George Soros, Bill Gates, and others. A summary of the top seven funders follows.

<><><>>The Susan Thompson Buffett Foundation -- $230,915,706---Warren Buffett’s Susan Thompson Buffett Foundation is by far the largest donor to Planned Parenthood in America. The President and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway gave a total of $231 million to Planned Parenthood between 2010 and 2013. That’s over ten times as much as the next largest donor. What’s more, Buffett’s contributions comprised over one fourth of Planned Parenthood’s private donations in 2013.

Buffett has always been tight-lipped about his abortion support and channels most of the money through the Susan Thompson Buffett Foundation, named after Buffett’s late wife, who was a strong supporter of abortion. The Foundation’s staff has ties to Planned Parenthood as well. Tracy Weitz, the Director of Domestic Programs at the Foundation, served as the manager of a San Francisco based Planned Parenthood for six years.

<><><>The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation -- $22,827,000 ---The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation has a long history of funding Planned Parenthood. Grant records starting in 2001 show millions of dollars in donations to Planned Parenthood’s “Population” program. In the four years from 2010 to 2013, the Hewlett Foundation gave $22.8 million to Planned Parenthood. The Planned Parenthood support is part of Hewlett’s larger Global Development and Population Program, which claims to “expand women’s choices about whether to have children.”

Hewlett is one of the core organizing groups for the 2015 International Conference on Family Planning. In 2013, Hewlett was listed as a Core Donor and in 2011 as a Sponsor. The conference promotes population control through abortion and contraception. Planned Parenthood, The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and The David and Lucile Packard Foundation have also been part of each conference’s International Steering Committee since 2009.

In mid 2014, Hewlett Packard hired Christine Clark, a previous Planned Parenthood employee, as a Program Officer in the Global Development and Population Program.

<><><>Open Society Institute -- $18,350,000 ----Liberal billionaire George Soros is the third largest donor to Planned Parenthood. His Open Society Institute gave $18.4 million to the abortion giant. In 2011 alone, Open Society pledged to give Planned Parenthood $20 million over a four-year period. The grant was specifically to build centers in the “south and southeast regions” of the U.S. There are staff connections between Open Society Foundations and Planned Parenthood as well. David Berry, the Senior Communications Officer at Open Society, and Magda Ali, an Advisory Board Member were both previously employed by Planned Parenthood. Eric Ferrero, the current Vice President of Communications at Planned Parenthood, was previously employed as the Deputy Director of U.S. Programs at Open Society Foundations.

<><><> The David and Lucile Packard Foundation -- $14,691,659 --- Planned Parenthood’s “Population and Reproductive Health” program is near and dear to The David and Lucile Packard Foundation. Of the $14.7 million they gave between 2010 and 2013, nearly all went to that single program. Since 2013, The Packard Foundation has added another $1.5 million in donations to Planned Parenthood - bringing their total financial support to $16.2 million since 2010. The Packard Foundation’s own Population and Reproductive Health program seeks to “stabilize population growth,” among other things. Subprograms within that program include promoting abortions in South Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, and the United States.

Packard has also partnered with Planned Parenthood in the International Conference on Family Planning. Previous Planned Parenthood employees now working at the Packard Foundation include Lisa Dacey, Program Operations Manager for the Population and Reproductive Health program; and Felicia Madsen, Communications Director.

<><> Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation -- $14,521,748 --- In December 2014, Melinda Gates attempted to argue that her foundation only supported the contraception element of Planned Parenthood - not the abortion side. Unfortunately for her argument, The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation was the fifth largest Planned Parenthood donor between 2010 and 2013 -- giving over $14.5 million. Abortion’s biggest funder -- Warren Buffett -- is also a Gates Foundation trustee, and helps “shape and develop strategies” for the Foundation. Buffett is also a large contributor to the Gates Foundation. The Foundation has also been heavily involved in supporting and sponsoring each International Conference on Family Planning.

Like the other major Planned Parenthood donors, The Gates Foundation has also hired previous Planned Parenthood employees. A non-exhaustive list includes Clarissa Brundage, Associate Program Officer for Family Planning; Emily Lockwood, Program Officer; Mariah Richardson, Associate Program Officer for Global Policy & Advocacy; and Meg DeRonghe, Senior Program Officer for Global Policy & Advocacy. Laura Tolosa-Leiva, Program Assistant, is so on the Board of Advocates for Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest and the Hawaiian Islands.

<><><>Ford Foundation -- $13,486,250--- The liberal Ford Foundation (not associated with Ford Motors) has one of the most direct and strong connections to Planned Parenthood. Not only did the Ford Foundation given $13.5 million to Planned Parenthood between 2010 and 2013, Planned Parenthood Federation of America’s own president, Cecile Richards, is on the Ford Foundation’s Board of Trustees.

Similar to the other organizations who fund Planned Parenthood, The Ford Foundation has its own Gender, Sexuality and Reproductive Justice program which promotes the idea that “sexuality and the right to reproductive health are fundamental to the human experience.” Since 2013, the Ford Foundation has donated another $1.4 million dollars -- bringing their total Planned Parenthood support to $14.9 million.

<><><>Vanguard Charitable Endowment Program -- $10,031,210--- The last group which gave over $10 million is the Vanguard Charitable Endowment Program. Unlike the six other largest donors, Vanguard is a donor-driven fund, meaning that individual donors -- not Vanguard -- chose Planned Parenthood as the recipient of their money. Donors who give to Planned Parenthood through Vanguard have the option of giving anonymously, therefore the actual sources of the $10 million Planned Parenthood donations are impossible to find.

Together, these top seven funders gave Planned Parenthood a total of $324.8 million between 2010 and 2013. /// Organizations that gave Planned Parenthood more than $1 million in 2010-2013 include:

The Huber Foundation $6,200,000
The Educational Foundation of America $3,478,800
The JPB Foundation $3,323,993
The John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation $2,900,000
Dyson Foundation $2,463,000
George D. Smith Fund, Inc. $2,200,000
Houston Endowment Inc. $2,200,000
The Grove Foundation $2,164,500
The Holland Foundation $2,055,000
James and Rebecca Morgan Family Foundation $1,985,000

2004 BACKSTORY

In February 2004, then-US Senate candidate Barack Obama’s wife, Michelle, sent a fund-raising letter with the “alarming news” that “right-wing politicians” had passed a law stopping doctors from performing p/b abortions (stabbing half-born babies in the neck with scissors, suctioning out their brains and crushing their skulls).

Michelle Obama considers partial-birth abortion “a legitimate medical procedure,” and asked supporters for $150 to attend a luncheon for her candidate husband, b/c he would fight against “cynical ploys” to stop p/b sbortions.

(NOTE: nurses at an Illinois hospital in 1999 discovered babies were being aborted alive and placed on shelves in soiled utility rooms to die unattended.)

BACKGROUND Legislation was presented on the federal level and in various states called the Born Alive Infants Protection Act. It stated all live-born babies were guaranteed the same constitutional right to equal protection, whether or not they were wanted.

BAIPA sailed through the U.S. Senate by unanimous vote. Even Sens. Clinton, Kennedy and Kerry agreed a mother’s right to “choose” stopped at her baby’s delivery. The bill also passed overwhelmingly in the US House.

NARAL went neutral on it. Abortion enthusiasts publicly agreed that fighting BAIPA would appear extreme. President Bush signed BAIPA into law in 2002.

But in Obama’s Illinois, the state version of BAIPA repeatedly failed, thanks in large part to then-state Sen. Barack Obama. It only passed in 2005, after Obama left. Obama articulately asserted that legislation protecting live aborted babies might infringe on women’s rights or abortionists’ rights (The very same judicial reasoning used to approve dismemberment of aborted babies).

In 2003, as chairman of the next state Senate committee to which BAIPA was sent, Obama stopped it from even getting a hearing, shelving it to die much like babies were still being shelved to die in Illinois hospitals and abortion chambers.

(NOTE As chair of that same committee, state Sen Obama once abruptly ended a hearing early, right before the parents of six children killed as a result of Illinois’ drivers licenses-for-bribes scandal, were to testify in favor of Choose Life

Every building that once housed PP should be tore apart brick by brick and everything inside should be burned. Then a monument should be placed on the grounds recognizing the horror that took place.

There is no grey area. Laws are laws. Even with abortion legal in jurisdictions, the crimes committed by abortion clinics is shocking as is the situation of the female becoming pregnant and her status in the first place.

When you are selling a House, you have to disclose whether someone died in it. That disclosure can affect the Sales Price, sometimes drastically.

I would think that any Facilities leased or owned by Planned Parenthood would be burnt to the ground and rebuilt as new before anyone would want to move into that space.
