A collection of high quality remastered prints from the dawn of film taken in Belle Époque-era Paris, France from 1896-1900. Footage slowed to a natural rate and sound added for ambiance. These films were taken by the Lumière company.

Well, it was either Toulouse or Helen Thomas.................. Well, given the black and white film it would be difficult to ascertain the raspberry beret Thomas wore during that period of her life, although her beard was more neatly trimmed. I noticed that her pole dancing scene on the moving sidewalk was deleted for the sake of decency.Just sayin'....

And too many of those who survived did not make it out of World War II.
The early half of the twentieth century destroyed two and three generations of western Europe's best and brightest young people. Especially its sense of manhood and virtue and nobility.
We are seeing the consequences of that today.

Everybody was used to it then...it was normal. Try driving on I 40 in the Texas panhandle in the spring near Amarillo!
