Why we need to be thankful today.

There is a tipping point when something cannot be reversed. I believe for the globalistas, this became evident once it was realized that the law and the US constitution are applied differently to the elitists and "we the people." The Kavanaugh hearings, pussy hats, Antifa, #metoo, Black Lives Matter and the LGBTQ activists has wreaked so much havoc on American society that there may not be a way to reverse the damage.

Our Republic remains alive, (although it seems like we are on life support) because President Trump said stop the madness and he is acting on it.

I would like to ask all of you to take pause for one minute and think about what our country would look like if Hillary was President today. No Gorsuch, no Kavanaugh, RBG resigns and another liberal gets seated. That would leave Alito, Thomas with Roberts on the fence. 2018 could have resulted in a Democrat congress and Senate, SCOTUS and the Oval Office. No immigration laws, no police to assist us, every white judeo/christian male has a huge target on his back. And worse off, the globalistas have access to a 4 trillion dollar piggy bank.

Your life savings being endangered by Socialists taking our money to create more government programs for those dependent on government, while the donor class takes their cut. Your property stolen to be given to the less fortunate. You are now told what you can eat, drink, smoke, drive and where to pray. The mode of communicating with the outside world is closely monitored and your firearm registrations are in the hands of anti-gun groups determining whether you should own a weapon, and if not, determine how long you have to turn your weapons in under threat of fines and prison..

Again, pause a minute to take this all in. Because this is what our country would look like only three years after Obama set us on this course.

Nothing here is made up. It has taken place in many socialist countries and we have all seen the results. Just look at Venezuela today. That's a globalists playbook.

So today, be thankful. Be very thankful for President Trump and pray he has the will and the strength to get us through this.

Our country is not at a tipping point.

Go outside and look around. Talk to your neighbors. Go to the store and look at the shelves. Look at the stories of people helping each other.

What happens on TV is manufactured for the dramatic effect.

Sure, vote your conscience and morals. But we are far from collapsing.

Trump is Leonidas at Thermopylae. He is fighting with divine courage and heroic leadership against impossible odds.
His sheer prescence is all that stands between the Republic and it’s death. Yet, he cannot succced without further support.

Our Republic remains alive

Is it? Revisit the Enumerated Powers clause sometime.

As for whose fault it is, the final nail was driven by Dubya Bush’s pushing Gonzales v Raich through the USSC. It had the effect of blowing down any remaining barriers to federal control over things as minor, as Justice Thomas wrote in dissent, as church suppers.

The Republic is dead. Long live the nation-state.

Trump is Leonidas at Thermopylae.

So you are accusing the president of identity theft?

Trump’s service commenced during the campaign. Every person and group declared. Declared hard. Everyone knows who is who.

That information is actionable. Divest all things and people left. Actively hate them. Pray hard for their damnation.

President Trump has given the old white men a few more years. Then the old white men die and the brainwashed and Ritalin addled get the society for which they clamor. Then they will be the prey. Hunger, sorrow, enslavement.

I’m just happy that there are jobs again as well as a real possibility that sanity will be (slowly) restored to our healthcare system.

I just want to live. To use my talents to make a living. I am depressed that the Equifax and other hacks just went by without comment or legislation and that “too big to fail” is our new reality. I am depressed that big data is crawling up our butts with absolutely no pushback whatsoever from our so-called representatives.

I thank God above that Trump won and that at least there is a light in the darkness. A friendly orange glow in the midst of pointy midnight angriness, if you will :)

That’s how Obamacare was passed essentially.

“There is a tipping point when something cannot be reversed. “

That point may be reached if enough Millennials, Generation X and other youngsters totally forget history and buy into crap like AOC spreads and turn government over to the ones that promise the most free stuff.

I scoff at that stuff, too.
Things like applicator when applier would do.
It’s an infestation of morphemes and suffixes.

No, not collapsing . But the Republic is sagging and will not come back. Trump, like Reagan has bought us a few years. The Trump hiatus will be shorter than the Reagan pause because the Left is far more virulent and encompasses a far karger share if the population now. We have several generations of citizens who know no history and no literature. The public school system is not reformable and has taught generations nothing more than socialism and gimme. Half the population pays no income tax and has no stake in a limited government. The society is too rich and supports a very large portion that consists of drones,

Plain old anger is a focused thing.

Angriness is more diffuse, sort of like a staticky fog of methane that hovers around just waiting for something to spark it so that it can explode.

We passed that point when Reagan was not followed by another Reagan.

Unless another "Trump" comes along in 2024.

How many saw Trump coming at this stage of the 2016 cycle?

I don't think Mike Pence is the successor to Trump. I think somebody like Mike Pompeo (or maybe somebody we haven't even considered yet) will emerge.
