GEORGETOWN, S.C. (WCBD) A deputy in Georgetown County was forced to use a taser on his own K-9 on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Georgetown County Sheriffs Office, a deputy responded to the scene of a reported burglary around 4:00 p.m.
A cow near the scene distracted the dog which led to the dog biting the cow.
To deescalate the situation, the deputy tased the dog.
The cow was spooked and struck the deputy and the property owner, resulting in minor injuries, according to GCSO.
The sheriffs office said that the burglary call proved to be unfounded.
I laughed aloud just reading the title! It sounds like Moe, Larry, and Curley!
For the record, a martial arts low block does nothing when a 350 lb heifer decides to kick you except hurt your arm also.
I wouldn’t think that tasers are designed for use on dogs.
It needs Benny Hill music to it.
Sounds like udder chaos to me.
Apparently, what’s at steak is the bovine had some sort of beef with the officer.
The other cows probably said “Well done”.
And they thought he did an A-1 job.
Hope the officer put his Taser back into his side Holstein.
They probably grilled the cow for hours.
That was my first thought! Usually the Floridians are the most creative about the weird things they do.
Dude, you should included me in that ping, lol. Reminded me of so many old corny jokes... I was at a party feeling merry, so Mary got up and left...she had a pair of 45s, she also had a gun...next thing you know we had three musketeers and a baby Ruth...
Strange things happen here in South Cackilacky
Wasn’t this a scene from “The Mouse that Roared”?
;)
These situations are so rare, it makes you want to sit around and chew the fat.
The bovine was definitely a cud above.
The situation was definitely a strange stew any way you slice it.
One of our DPS (state) cops tased a stray dog that was running all over the I-17 freeway. They couldnt catch him so they tased him several times for his own safety.
