The rules say "be considerate" most of the Freepers are anything but, constantly hurling innuendo, names, and insults. But it's my fault or something like that so my threads get pulled without any explanation. And then the mods call me "thick". That's considerate?
I'm a rock solid conservative, retired, 24 year Army Vet, and still work for the Army. I'm a lifetime member of the VFW and NRA. I'm a 20 year contributor to FR and the mods wont even answer a question, but instead call me names and insult me.
That's the wrong attitude there. A defeatist attitude. Try this simple mental exercise. Close your eyes and imagine you're a shark and that thread is blood in the water. You have to attack relentlessly and ruthlessly. It's all fun and games until the mods get involved and then it's time to sit in the corner and write over and over "I will not get involved in these stupid foolish threads because they waste my time and are bad for my blood pressure". Then . . and then, I'll have to come up with some more good advice for you. I'm like the CDC and Dr. Falsey, I change my mind often and switch sides.

I’ve been in FB jail several times. I still can’t figure out what for as I never cuss or use vile language. Once they jailed me for a photo of a dead Pancho Villa photo. I posted it in 2018, they caught it in 2020.
Then I asked why the Navajos were suffering from corona-virus so much worse than the Cherokees and was immediately suspended. I have family living in both areas and wanted to be kept informed. BAM! Instant closed account. I had to jump through lots of hoops to get re-enstated. It is just not worth it anymore.

Trebuchets are superior at putting horses into water.
So I’m going with that.
The first team to field all their horses into the pool without missing has an advantage at the start.

I enjoy engaging in conversation with Freepers, I don’t like the feeling of being back in grade school and seeing some kid walk down the hall towards me who has it in for me, when all I am trying to do is scope out the girl with the braids in her hair!
And trying to keep track of which kids are which. I enjoy hanging out with nearly everyone.

I’m not really trying to be sarcastic here, as what I’m about to say is true. And what I want to say is: “I wish the only problems I have are yours”. And I bet I’m not the only one here with more serious problems.
Now with being called names. I’ve been called an A hole here among others. To me it’s just oh well, gee whiz. Then I move on.

Ever see a ping pong game? Or a tennis match? It goes back and forth. The ball doesn't reside with any one player for long. Always going back and forth.
FR is a premier place to get the honor of being insulted at least one a day.
