This may have been a true suicide, considering that the young girl suffered from both epilepsy and depression.
My sympathies to her family.

How sad. I’m very sorry for her family and friends.
Very sad. She had everything to live for but perhaps couldn’t see that at this very young stage in her life; in her mind, she had just lost everything. The worst kind of tragedy.
Russians just gotta learn to put more distance between themselves and open windows before half the country succumbs to the threat of the Killer Windows App.

In spite of his (Pierre Bezukhov) good intentions we find him a few hours later with his ‘friends’ Anatole Kuragin and Dolokhov. He clearly feels more at home at the wild drinking-bout that they’re having.
Competitive skating it not an easy world to live in. These kids literally do nothing by skate and so often (at least for the girls), their career is over before they know it. If you’ve got nothing to fill the void when you’re no longer skating 6-8 hours a day, it’s a big challenge.
I remember an All In The Family episode where Meathead, or someone, was talking about people killed with guns. Archie says, “Would youse be happier if they was pushed out of windows?”.
