Anyway, you can judge me in another thread :) But at a pickup window today (McDonalds) I ordered a coffee for myself and drove to the first window. The kid behind the covid condom stuck his head out and said.. simply.. and I quote..
“I can’t sell you a coffee”. Then he just stood there. No explanation.
If I did this in my job... Lets say I walked up to a house door and waited for the owner to open it. Then I blankly stared at them and said “I can’t deliver your food” and then just stood there I would fully expect the customer to pull out a gun and shoot me in the testicle.
I’ve been seeing levels of stupidity that truly question Darwin. These people shouldn’t be.
When I was young and dumber than I am now (still dumb, though), I used to beleive that no one was "stupid". I thought most people were ignorant, but not "stupid". As I grew older I realized I was the one who was ignorant of the fact that there are many, many hopelessly "stupid" people in the world and that one cannot fix "stupid".
That made me depressed for some time, but I got over it.
Example. 2+2=4 it has been proven if you discount every other number in existence. Though you haven't there for it's not true. It's the argument that many believe today why all science is wrong. LOL! Thanks for posting. David Knight does a lot of very thought provoking shows. One individual makes not a civilization. It’s easy to point out the flaws in any individuals logic. Defending oneself against the irrational is a whole different issue. Reason & logic are the fundamentals of thinking which lead to any civilization.

I’m honestly amazed that someone so blazingly incapable of... Well, of ANYTHING, could possibly come up with a more moronic set of statements.
I think my favorite line of hers may very well have been, “we don’t need algebra, since we have all this technology...” Where exactly, does she imagine that the technology came from? Does the “Technology Unicorn” fly down from the rainbow mountain, farting out the newest version of the iPhone?
Ask her, the next time it’s time for her to charge her phone, how far she’d get in converting AC to DC voltages without Algebra. Or given that Algebra is the base of most mathematics, how much farther she’d manage to get past subsistence farming, before she starves to death?
