Libertarian ‘politicians’ perhaps. I’m speaking about average libertarians on the street, such as myself. I’ve been telling people for nearly two decades that I support republicans because democrats are closet socialists and the socialists scare me more than the neocons. People didn’t used to believe me that they were socialists. Now it’d actually rather funny, if it wasn’t so serious.

Oh no, I feel quite at home here, most of the time. While FR is not homogeneous nor in lockstep by any stretch, for the most part they are not neocons, although I will say that many of us (myself included) got caught up in the fervor of an ever increasing WOT and their justifications, when the focus always should have been OBL, but after 911 our emotions were easier to manipulate. Since the 2000s I think we have evolved a bit.
I agree. To me the term neocon applies to the Bush/Cheney type of Repubs who got us involved in Iraq and Afghanistan. And for what?
Trump’s version of Isolationism is perfect. He has kept relations with Russia, China, North Korea, etc. at an even keel.
No wonder Trump has been nominated for three Nobel Peace Prizes.
This is especially funny cause NH has so many libertarians.

I’m a 30 yr LP member and I’m voting Trump 2020.
I almost voted Trump in 2016, but pulled the lever for Johnson at the last minute. But I don’t even recognize the LP any more: they’ve gone full woke.
I don’t have to like Trump to vote for him. I don’t even have to agree with him on most issues. All I have to do is to open my eyes and understand that it’s either Trump or an authoritarian government lorded over by the Deep State.
President Trump appears to be an ALM-sman...pays the Absolute Legal Minimum.
