I just discovered yesterday that I've been banned by youtube for "repeated offensive or threatening" behavior. I do no such thing...not here,not on youtube,not anywhere.
Just thought I'd show you all what I wrote on the "appeals" form I sent them.Of course I don't expect the decision to be reversed.Didn't twitter just announce that they'll be banning the President if (when?) he leaves office?
"I comment on videos I see connected to politics and social issues.I don't use language nearly as strong or "offensive" as much of what I see nor do I make threats of any kind.Yes,I offend people and often I'm informed of that through comments which include gross insults and threats.I know that the President and many of his top advisers and supporters,among others whose opinions differ from those expressed on MSNBC, have been banned by youtube,twitter,facebook,etc.Is this an indication of how far this country has sunk? Has youtube become just another arm of the Ministry of Truth?"

They ban based on political content. Any other explanation is just a lie. Just looking at what is banned and what isn’t tells the tale.

I’ve been doing a little bit of research lately. Youtube is becoming all things Indian. Their parent company are calling the shots now.

When I go to youtube or other left wing social media site I pretend that I am in a foreign country that is communist or fascist.
I am not totally comfortable being there but as a frequent traveler I realize that if I want to see the offerings there (food, culture, history, scenery etc) I will have to make some compromises. It conflicts with my integrity, but that is the trade off. I am not forced to go there, but there is something there that is of interest to me so I make the journey.
Similarly, just as if I were in a foreign county that is communist or fascist, I realize I am there on a website like youtube as I guest and that if they knew the truth about me and my belief systems, I would probably not be welcome. I keep my mouth shut and obey their laws and regulations. Just as a communist would have to obey the rules or be banned if they came here to free republic.
(There are some websites I will not visit or participate in for any reason - ie twitter - just as there are countries I will not visit under any circumstances - or some states like New York).
There’s supposedly a LOT of that going on - see some of Nerdrotic’s videos where he discusses how he’s suddenly lost thousands of subscribers a day.
