Just a general question have you left or are leaving the GOP? Cause I was talking to a few people today who seem to have had it with the Party and just going for the candidate they like and won’t be volunteering or donating to the party for a very long time

In TX the only way for me to leave the GOP is to vote in the 2022 Democrat Party, and I won’t be doing that.
The GOP can stick it where the sun don’t shine, sideways, through 3 pounds of sand.

Yes. Changed registration on 1/6/2021 from GOP to Unaffiliated.
The last GOP candidate (other than Trump) that I donated to was many years ago.
I’ve lent help in other ways, but actually giving money to them....no way.
At this point there’s a good chance none of them will get my money.
I’ll pick and choose which candidates I support, but I certainly won’t have a GOP allegiance.
Am I supposed to notify somebody? I thought the next election I just identify as “independent”. Is there a process?

No, in TX there are no Independent primaries; so that is not an option here.
Gone already, I am hoping someone will start the T party with just the T as the name.
Checked in Ohio. No party affiliation until you request a ballot. I wish Jim Jordan was in our district, but it’s Chabot.
I’m debating. I want to be able to vote against GOPe candidates in the primary and do a lot of groundwork for a good guy. I would love them to see a major drop off of republican voters in the general. Trump voters should not be suckered into the horse race ever again.

I assume that a new political party will come about very soon. If not, I’ll just never vote again....what’s the point if the elections are rigged?
Here’s the other problem, the GOP are part of the rigged, they somehow betrayed the country and have made a deal with the Dems. Defunding them means nothing, it’s all just fake.
The only hope are the very conservative states. Just need one to secede. If so, it’d be the fastest growing population in the World as people flee this communist invasion.
A few states let Independents vote in the primaries, but most do not.
