Maybe for you, but I’d be up all night barfing. I hate bananas.

I find that if I set a routine when bedtime arrives, I can make myself fall asleep fast.
Bananas help prevent the calves from locking up, though.

I would feel the same way as you if someone recommended I eat peanut butter and broccoli before going to bed.
Yeech!
To: be-baw
With decades of insomnia, I’ll definitely give this a try.

A peanut butter/ambien combination works really well too.

The problem is that it is bad for your teeth to go to sleep with all that sticky sugar in your mouth, and brushing your teeth right after such a snack is pretty yucky (Pepsodent and similar taste NASTY after peanut butter/banana).

I often eat a banana as a late snack. When you walk into the kitchen they are easy to grab and the wonderful packaging keeps them fresh if you decide to wait a while.

Wow! 27 grams of carbs in one banana, no thanks.
I love bananas

Sliced up with a teaspoon of raw honey from my back yard hives is sweet ambrosia.

I love bananas but they give me extreme GERD. If I ate one before bed I’d probably choke in my sleep. Peanut butter, though, I might give that a try.

Not for me. A banana is good before exercise, though.

Interesting.

My wife has sleeping trouble as well. It would be nice if you report back your results.

“Bananas help prevent the calves from locking up, though.” Have been eating half a banana before turning in
If I wake up early the other half
Noticed I have no calf lock up since.
I was in hospital last year for a week
Docs were monitoring my potassium levels and discharge was dependent on normal values of potassium.
Since then I keep a stock of bananas at home and in the car when out driving.
