Communism benefits those at the top, but also those at the bottom.
It provides work and income for those who would otherwise be economically valueless, by having them spy on, and perform enforcement against, the economically productive.
Think of Antifa and BLM. They would otherwise be sitting in mom’s basement, or working at Starbucks. Instead they are given the job of violently going after anyone who might dare to oppose the Democrats.
