That is true.
In the heat of the American Civil War elections took place as before. If one side or the other could stop elections to time them for an advantage we’d probably still be waiting for the crisis of WWII to end... because they’d have been extending it, and extending it, and extending it. (Even if they had to hold the last German corpse up from behind like “Weekend at Bernie’s.”)

Prices for everything are higher.
The Democrats and the press are putting up smokescreens, but those smokescreens don’t cover the cost at the gas station or grocery store.
Ironically, Putin, indirectly boosted up sleepy Joe’s popularity.

You could start with a google search to see when the last time a midterm election was cancelled for a war that Americans were not fighting in. Then once you’ve accomplished that 30 second task you could contemplate a timeline for when the war which Americans are not fighting in might end so that we could resume our constitutionally mandatory elections in a non-wartime nation half a world away from any fighting by non Americans.
Extra credit if you google search the last time an election was cancelled for a war that actual Americans were actually fighting in.
