Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban called out the progressive left at this years CPAC after he was welcomed to CPAC with a standing ovation.
Speaking at the event on Thursday, Orban accused progressive liberals of trying to silence him and attempting to keep him away from the event.
“They did not want me to be here, and they made every effort to drive a wedge between us,” said Orban. “They hate me and slander me and my country as they hate you and slander you and the America you stand for. We all know how this works. Progressive liberals didn’t want me to be here because they knew what I would tell you. Because I’m here to tell you that we should unite our forces.”
He then went on to suggest that today’s progressive left is equivalent to Nazis and communist dictators by trying to move the US away from Judeo-Christian values. …

Orban crossed a red line with his race mixing speech, and CPAC probably should have disinvited him.
“We have seen what kind of future the globalist, ruling class has to offer. But we have a different future in mind,” Orbán said. “The globalists can all go to hell, I have come to Texas.”
Perhaps we need more people willing to cross red lines in discussions.
I saw leftist intolerance in action today. When the Right Side Broadcasting Network aired President Trump’s speech at CPAC this afternoon, a leftist troll posted hundreds and maybe thousands of racial slurs in the comments section. He apparently saved the slurs in the buffer and then rapidly posted them over and over into the comments section using ctrl-V on his keyboard and was able to drown out everyone else.
Attacking one of Europe’s last great leaders. About what I’d expect from a Sorosbot/Zelensky toady.
Was that speech in English or Hungarian?
The translation is arbitrary if in Hungarian. If in English, then Orban does not understand the nuances of political speech in the USA.
La Raza - the largest Amnesty and Open Borders lobby in the USA - literally means "The Race."
You think this because you believe what the leftist media told you what Orban said.
The fact is that Orban promotes his culture and nation and believes his government should be protecting their culture and nation.
Orban said instead of importing migrants, government should be promoting procreation by their own citizens....something Orban has done in Hungary. A couple that has 4 children pays no income taxes.
Protecting culture rather than diluting it is not against race mixing.
This is the same angle of attack as the attack on those that oppose illegal immigrants subscribe to the "racist" great replacement theory.
Think for yourself.
“Orban crossed a red line with his race mixing speech, and CPAC probably should have disinvited him.”
Why, because he’s right? You know what he meant, Muslims trying to come over the border into his country, amongst many other illegals of all races. But you want to take the woke politically correct view of what he said, so you are not on the side of stopping the continual movement of illegals all over the European continent.
Muslims have ruined or are ruining the U.K., Sweden, Germany, etc. Orban crossed no red line and you should go join a Dem website with your attitude. Especially as our country is being overrun via our southern border by hordes of third world country illegals, attempting to ruin our country too.
I see Orban as a hero fighting against the globalists and elitists that won’t have to live with those that they inflict on the rest of us. Orban won’t let his country be ruined like ours will be if we don’t get rid of Biden and his regime quickly enough. It doesn’t take long to turn a country Commie. Reagan said 10 years; Puppet Biden and his Commie minions, is doing it in 1-4 years.
Get out of here with that BS talking point from the Corporate Media.
What the Left is trying to seize upon is that Orban said Hungary must not become mixed race.....which he immediately corrected and said he meant mixed culture.
He said Hungary must preserve its CULTURE and not allow itself to be swamped by uninvited middle eastern Muslim “migrants”.
After having been occupied by the Muslim Ottoman Turks for 150 years, the Hungarians are particularly sensitive about being occupied by Muslims again. Foreigners who know nothing of Hungary’s history might fail to grasp that point. Hungarians certainly understand it.
Not his speech at CPAC, his July 23 speech in Hungary. One of his advisers responded by resigning: https://www.euronews.com/2022/07/27/long-time-orban-ally-resigns-over-hungarian-pms-pure-nazi-speech
‘Zsuzsa Hegedüs said in a letter sent to Hungarian news outlet hvg.hu that while she doesn’t believe Orbán is racist as a person, the comments he made on Saturday “turned into an openly racist speech”.
“I don’t know how you didn’t notice that you were turning your previous anti-migrant [rhetoric] and anti-Europeanism into a pure Nazi text worthy of [Joseph] Goebbels,” she said. “But I cannot, because of the severity of the fact, even with our friendship of nearly 20 years, overlook that this time.”’
I suppose it is possible that Orban was misquoted by the press. If so he should clarify better what he actually said.
When did he correct it? Do you have a link? There’s a big difference between culture and race, and that’s why I and the Orban friend of 20 years who resigned consider it a red line.
He should know, he saw it from the inside.
I hope he used the right phrasebook.
Nazis + communists?
I only needed one reason to totally despise them.
This is great news. Nazis/communists would have to be some of the most annoying people the sheeple could ever meet.
Oh baloney.
It was about culture not race.
You cannot have incompatible cultures living in the same country.
This country used to work that despite all of the different ethnicities we strived to create a unique American culture. Those days are gone.
