Taylor White was only 21 when her face was tattooed with obscenities against her will, leaving her with no other option than to cover up the unsightly markings with dark, black ink.
Now, more than a decade later, the Florida resident is finally removing her blackout face tattoo with the help of a generous stranger, Karridy Askenasy, otherwise known as TheDadBot. White, who formerly worked in the body-modification industry and is attempting to transition into the mental health field, said her face tattoo became an obstacle for her to land a job, and she was hurt by the rejection.
“I’ve tried applying for jobs in the mental health care field just as an advocate,” White, who has bipolar 2 disorder, told The Post. “I understand that my appearance is quite different, and could maybe jar someone that has their own condition. When she was a young woman, her face tattoo journey began as thin lines on either side of her face connecting her eyes to her temples. It was “war paint,” she said, which White inked herself during a period of “mania” while working at a tattoo shop in an attempt to prove herself as an artist.

So I’m supposed believe that a local tattoo parlor, accosted her with a gun to her head, to get the face tattoo?
Excerpt says she inked herself during a period of mania and trying to prove herself as an artist.
HI HO SILVER
to da dump ...to da dump ..to da dump dump dump
I can believe a simple tattoo could be forced on somebody, but to get your entire face covered like that would take some very heavy sedatives.
Supposedly, she only inked a couple of lines on her face. But the nasty words were apparently the work of a boyfriend she refuses to name. This boyfriend allegedly got her drunk and he and his buddies tatted her up and assaulted her in a hotel room. Whether or not there really was a boyfriend is the question I was left with. Given her bi-polar, she may very well have done it to herself.
My first question too?
No, I don't believe her.
She hangs out with a whole group of men. Voluntarily goes to a motel room with them. They get her drunk or stoned ... not to rape her, but to tattoo her face?
If she did it to herself, it wasn’t against her will. Something doesn’t make sense here. But then I don’t think that tattoos or other forms of self-mutilation make any sense to begin with.
Tequila might do it too.
It happens that some people in a manic phase can be incredibly impulsive, and that includes sexually. I know from friends who had bipolar disorder (back when it was called manic depression).
Tequila would have more beneficial health effects than the J&J vaccine.
I saw a movie where an American sailor goes on a bender with British sailors in a foreign port. He gets really blitzed and passes out, and wakes up with a full back tattoo of the Union Jack! It was hilarious and I could see the Brits thinking it was too.
That would be mayhem. A felony.
I think felons should walk around with one on their face. Gives everyone a warning.
sure, it was against her will, right...
That is very true. Tequila doesn’t cause spontaneous heart attacks. Tequila can get a person into some interesting situations though.
I have seen that. Can’t remember the title.
Me too.
She is hiding the name of the ex=boyfriend. I don’t buy her story. I hope the MH field sends her elsewhere for a job. She should stay in the body mod job market.
