Actually, people don’t hate the media as much as you think.

OPINION: As the nation hurtles toward a critical election and the world confronts two wars, the fate of U.S. democracy is complicated by another pressure: the public’s low esteem of the media. Trust in the news is at record lows, especially among conservatives, and local news is at risk of dying out completely. Isn’t that the case, repeated in poll after poll and bemoaned by pundits? That sad state hangs over everything, because democracy depends on an agreed-upon set of facts, a free press to discover them and a public square where citizens can find compromise over their differences.

A little humor on a bleak, looks-like-snow Tuesday morning. These people live by the polls, in a fantasy world. But it's always good to know what the radical leftists are thinking and saying.

To people who are brainwashed, a steady supply of reinforcing information from the media is like a drug to an addict.

Think narcissistic supply.

Without it, these people begin to doubt their sanity because reality conflicts with their brainwashed mindset.

Well, the Left really doesn’t treat patriotic, Christian, freedom-cherishing citizens as “people”.

Actually they do not even admit the notion of “Citizen” unless it means “citizen of the World”, an oxymoron at best.

Viewing opponents, enemies as less than human, people, has always been required for genocidal, soul-less monsters to coax their mobs, secret police, and armies to rape, murder, and enslave the “Other”.

Did Jeffery B. Have a hand in that commentary? Not ever going to give paywall-tribute to these communists.

Because people don’t bother with the media anymore.

They know it’s all lies and they’ve moved on.

Our local stations can’t spell or read a TelePrompTer. Now they’re in a competition to hire the most obese women they can find. If you can’t believe or even look at them, what’s left?

Wow. The nation "hurtles," and the world "confronts" and pundits "bemoan." Such prose.

Note that after the hyperbole comes a part of a sentence: "...democracy depends on an agreed-upon set of facts."

Facts need no "agreement." Facts are facts. Facts do not change, when some "agree" the facts are no longer facts." This is version "x" of the "consensus" driven arguments.

Hurtle. Confront. Bemoan.
