Customers at Home Depot were delighted to discover the home improvement store is now selling a medieval sword similar to one used in a famed 1990s Best Picture winner.
"Reclaim your FREEDOM from the tyrannical English king with this authentic William Wallace sword," Home Depot's descri7ption of the product says.
The sword is a replica of the one used by Mel Gibson in the 1995 Oscar-winning film, "Braveheart."
Fans of the film wasted no time filling the product's Question and Answer section and reviews with jokes and references to the iconic film and other famous movies.

I thought Home Depot was on board the Trans/ Diversity/ Inclusion wagon? Did their wheels fall off? ….i stopped shopping there years ago when they got on that wagon.
They start giving away ARs id be happy.

Nope.
Well last time I was at Home Depot I was told I had to register, download something etc...And I carry a miniaturized DD214 and my DL is stamped “veteran”.
I couldn’t believe it...I told them to keep their effing discount and left what I was trying to purchase at the register...I never went back to Home Depot and that was about 2 years ago.
I am more interested in overthrowing a despotic President in Washington DC.
Would it be useful for that purpose?

The one near me does. Would not accept my retired military ID as proof.
I have never seen any swords or armor at my local Home Depot.
