Zogby on 2012: Palin leads among Republicans, Romney leads among all voters
Hotair ^ | Zogby

Check that: Romney barely leads among all voters, within the margin of error. But here’s evidence, in case more was needed, of how sharply conservatives’ view of the ‘Cuda diverges from America’s. Among Republicans, it’s Palin 24.4, Mitt 18.1, Jindal 15.6; among everyone, Mitt 13.7, Palin 13.4, Jindal 12.5.

What happened to Huck, who was in the thick of things when Gallup recently asked a similar question? Palin happened to Huck:

Do they have a head to head poll of Palin v. Obama?

I wholeheartedly agree. I’m less worried about winning the next election than I am about living in the middle of a Walmart stampede. Focusing on winning the next election is a WASTE of our energy. I expect we will see a noticeable “relocation” of our population over the next ten years. We can exert influence through the election of our State representatives. That would mean that those of us living in the red states should start putting the heat on our Governors to fight for more independence at the state level. For those of us living in Blue states...guess you have to move, because we can’t save you if we can’t distinguish an Obama rally from a Walmart stampede.

Dear Gussie; this crap is like a family patriarch dying and the "bereaved" family members fighting for position and wealth before the frickin' funeral.

Polls suck 4 days before an election and you guys are propogating polls for an election 4 years away. The MSM manipulates the polls; that helped Obama's vote margin on Nov. 4. The anti-Obama voters gave up and stayed home. STOP THIS NONSENSE!!!

Wouldn't it be crazy and cool and an incredible stategy, if Mitt and Palin got together right now and announced that they are going to team up together to run in 2012 as Palin-Romney!

I would start fund raising and contributing monthly!

Let the Governors Palin, Jindal and Romney spend some time rebuilding the party before they build their campaigns.

Then we'll see.

Palin need to continue to stay in the public eye.

Obama and Hilliary and Romney are campaigning for 2012 and have been for two years.

The Republicans need to be campaigning too.

Romney and Hilliary "suspended" their campaigns.

Which means they never stopped campaigning, they just started the next day campaigning for 2012.

The democrats would love to have all the Republicans dissapear for two years, esecially Palin.

Romney can never be elected President, and I doubt that Jindal could either.

Well, going with the candidate with the widest popularity didn’t help us out this time, did it?

The GOP does well when it sticks to its principles, not when it tries to please everybody. Reagan was a small ‘l’ libertarian, not some RINO, and he was as popular as any president.

That would be a death nell for Palin.

Romney leads among all voters

Sure just like McCain did. We can not let the dems or the MSM pick our candidate again.

Plain and simple - we need to differentiate ourselves from the other party. The problem is, when you are part of the problem - nobody will select you to be the solution. If the next candidates in 2010 and 2012 that are republican can prove that they did things that were different than the dems and the rinos esp. if things get worse then they can prove to the electorate that they know what they are doing and that being fiscally conservative w/ less govt. is better for this country and its people. If you can’t tell the difference then why vote for dem lite when you can just vote for the dem. It’s like why by the cow when you can get the milk for free!!

Only way to stop that is to demand changes to our primary system. WHO is going to accomplish that?

Economically, he is a pretty smart fellow. And he is very pro-Life. I think he would be a great VP, and he would pull Michigan. :-)

~LOL~ He only became pro-life when he decided to run for President. Economically he left MA in a pretty good mess with Romneycare...

No thanks, I'll pass.

All this makes me think of the loud cries for "Condi in '08!" back in 2004. It was a given then that that she would be a brilliant pick.

Pretty early days yet. Mitt is bad news; he's the turd in the Republican punch bowl.

Zogby shows Palin and Romney only .3 apart - that’s nothing.

But anyway, I don’t trust Zogby, and here’s one of the reasons why:

Just in time for Election Day to get some Republicans to stay home, imo:

We’ve got to find a way to keep Dems and “Independents” from picking the REPUBLICAN candidate in the early primary states. Only REPUBLICANS should be allowed to pick a REPUBLICAN candidate.
