In a brief televised statement following the decision, Romney vowed that his first priority upon entering the White House would be repealing the so-called Obamacare law.
President Obama may have won the health care battle at the Supreme Court, but Mitt Romney is claiming a victory in the money wars.
Since the court released its stunning 5-4 decision upholding Obamas health care law Thursday morning, the Romney campaign has taken in a flood of donations from Republican supporters angry about the ruling.
Romney spokeswoman Andrea Saul tweeted Friday that the campaign received more than 47,000 online donations totaling $4.6 million in the 24 hours since the ruling.
The surge in small donations indicates that the decision may be an effective weapon for Republicans to mobilize conservatives for the general election.
In a brief televised statement following the decision, Romney vowed that his first priority upon entering the White House would be repealing the so-called Obamacare law. Despite overseeing similar health care legislation while he was governor of Massachusetts, Romney said Thursday that the federal law was bad policy yesterday, its bad policy today.
In a surprise move, Chief Justice John Roberts cast the tiebreaking vote that preserved the laws controversial individual mandate, arguing that it is constitutional as a tax.
Romney has no record as POTUS. We can theorize what he may do. Obama does have a record as POTUS and is in the process of destroying this country.
It is theoretical politics vs. reality.
I chose reality. Obama must be defeated in November.
Anybody But Romney’s choose daydreams, photoshops and unicorns because they add nothing constructive to the defeat of BHO.
Some have chose to cut and run in the face of tyranny. Some have chosen to stand their ground and fight. History will be the judge.
Posting silly little cartoons doesn’t do a lot to bolster your case or make you look any closer to intelligent.
You’re not a RINO, you’re a realist.
Pissing and moaning aside, getting Romney elected is job #1A. Taking the Senate is job #1B.
You supporting the AUTHOR of RomneyCARE/ObamaCARE
and GAY-Marriage (against the Clerks) Does not
make you a Conservative.
That’s like flushing your money down the toilet. ObamaCare is Romney’s worst issue, since he is on record supporting RomneyCare and the mandate on a national level for many years. He is also on record removing references of his support from his book, and then directly contradicting and lying about interviews and speeches he has given where he has praised RomneyCare as a good option nationally. Even now, Mittens’ surrogates have already stated that ObamaCare can’t be repealed in its entirety, and that Republicans are going to want/need to keep “the good parts.” Romney is a pathological liar just shilling for votes, and like Obama he is not being honest about his real positions, instead using his surrogates to float his real opinions.
So helping Obama get reelected does?
"Peeking Out From the McCain Wreckage: Mitt Romney"
"Someone's got to say it: IS MITT ROMNEY RESPONSIBLE FOR OBAMA'S VICTORY?"
"Vanity: Team Romney Sabotaged Palin and Continuing to Do So?"
"Romney Supporters Trashing Palin"
"Romney advisors sniping at Palin?"
Answering a question with a question doesn’t answer my question. And at least dig up some new pictures and cartoons. Those few are getting redundant.
I guess you got the answer to your question. You must feel terrible when a marxist kenyan supporter calls you names.
We seemed to do okay under Presidents Eisenhower, Nixon, Ford and both Bushes, at least until 2008, and they were mostly RINO. He has to be better than the current occupant of the position.
It is as upsetting as Tom and Katie getting a divorce.
Me too. Right after the ruling yesterday.
Yep, it's mighty thin gruel, but Romney doesn't hate his our country. That will have to do for this election.
There is only one battle and it has only two banners. We can get behind one or the other. Talk of anything else now is a waste of oxygen (or bandwidth). Those who persist with ‘no Romney, no way’ are doing a disservice to their country.
Sorry, I don't march under the banners of socialism...
Those who persist with no Romney, no way are doing a disservice to their country.
...No matter how many times I'm grossly insulted by those who do.
Just gave 50.00 of my prepping budget yesterday.
please donate to house and senate races in toss up states.
with all the media and dem union thugs they need a boat load to even have a chance.
Actually, I had to go look it up.
Conservatives still trapped in the Republican stable are a fitting parallel.
