During his annual State of the Union address before Congress, President Barack Obama made a big deal about the need to increase the federal minimum wage to $10.10 an hour. The move followed months of promises and rhetoric from the White House about how important it was to the economy to increase the minimum wage.

But interns can work free.
I doubt there are many federal employees making minimum wage or less.
1) Eliminating tens of thousands of Teenage Jobs (hurting the young)
2) Stopping firms from hiring minimum wage workers they planned to do (preventing Job Creation).
3) Bankrupting more businesses that cannot afford it (Destroying businesses).
What he forgot to say is that he doesn’t have the right to make any changes.
“I doubt there are many federal employees making minimum wage or less.”
It’s for federal contractors too. They may have some broom pushers, etc., that will now make the new minimum.
