ROCK HILL, S.C. — A generational divide among black voters is persisting in the Democratic primary — between the two old white men.
Joe Biden has amassed a staggering lead among older African Americans, commanding nearly two-thirds support of black voters 65 and older in the most recent Morning Consult poll. Bernie Sanders is the favorite of black millennials, though his margin with that group is much smaller. Among all black voters, Biden is leading Sanders, 41 percent to 20 percent.
Biden and Sanders have maintained their edges even as other candidates — including two African American senators, Kamala Harris and Cory Booker, have courted black voters more aggressively in recent months. Though opinions could change in the runup to voting, the preferences of African Americans this deep into the campaign has major implications for the election: As black voters go, so goes the mantle of Democratic front-runner — and likely the presidential nominee.
The irony of two white septuagenarians commanding majority support among African Americans — despite running in a historically diverse Democratic field — isn’t lost on black elected officials, operatives and voters. Several of them interviewed for this story said it speaks to the belief among many black voters that Biden is both best positioned to beat Donald Trump in a general election and to the loyalty he earned after eight years as Barack Obama’s No. 2.

II Thou shall not allow any member to question the group’s inherent morality, instead members shall be encouraged to ignore the ethical or moral consequences of their decisions
III Thou shalt promote collective efforts to rationalize in order to discount warnings, or other information that might lead members to reconsider their assumptions before they recommit themselves to their assumptions
IV Thou shalt reinforce stereotyped views of enemy leaders as too evil to warrant genuine attempts to negotiate, or as too weak and stupid to counter whatever risky attempts are made to defeat their purpose
V Thou shalt self-censor any deviation from the apparent group consensus, inclining each member to minimize the importance of their doubts and counterarguments
VI Thou shalt create and maintain a shared illusion of unanimity concerning judgement conforming to the majority view
VII Thou shalt apply direct pressure on any member who expresses strong arguments against any of the group’s stereotypes, illusions, or commitments, making clear that this type of dissent is contrary to what is expected of all loyal members
VIII Thou shalt appoint mindguards to protect the group from adverse information that might shatter their shared complacency about the effectiveness and morality of their decisions

Looks more and more like Joe’s going to have to win either IA or NH to hang on. However, if he does, he may have smooth sailing after SC. His biggest enemy is himself.

This is just one example. It just might be that typical older blacks are just as concerned as typical older whites are if the country is run by people who want to rewrite all of our history, culture, and traditions, and have no interest in learning the real deal.
I think being the alpha on the stage is worth a few percentage points. That’s the main thing that Donna Brazille tried to get across to Algore in 2000.
Trump could pick up a few points among all voting groups for that reason, because no one is going to out-alpha him.
Slow Joe is the best shot they have, I’m still hoping for Bernie.

the facts are that the Dems only get 37% of white voters, the white liberal is overstated-e.g. CA is not a liberal state, it is just a state now where there are only 44% white voters.
The white liberals run things and the stress on free stuff gets them 92% of black voters (12.45 of all voters,) 71% of Hispanic voters (18.6% of all voters) and 70% of Asian voters (about 6%)
GOP needs to go after Hispanic voters
They need to join us to support “old” Trump. Jobs! Money!
Otherwise, if a Democrat is elected, the markets will collapse. And Democrats would certainly turn us completely back to the “free trade” routine for their political bosses, even though it would cause a general economic collapse. No jobs, no place. No money! :(
Better question is why are they voting for a democrat at all? Are they too dumb to realize that President Trump has done more to elevate the lives and prosperity of blacks than any democrat in history? If they listen to the mainstream media only then that is the obvious answer.

The title alone invalidates the premise of identity politics, that people can only be represented by members of their own tribe.
