Hello everybody! Pippin here. My thoughts today lean towards lightheartedness!  I was watching an old episode from the old Fantasy Island series from the late '70's and early ‘80’s. Remember that one?

While I was watching it, a bit of nostalgia and an idea came to me; I remembered some of my fantasies and dreams from when I was younger.

I used to dream of marrying a rich Jewish lawyer. When my mom asked me why a rich Jewish lawyer since we were Catholic, I answered in my childish way (I was about 10 or 11 at the time) that all the rich lawyers I could think of were of the Jewish faith.

That fantasy just kind of died out in time - replaced by others of course!

Another fantasy was of getting married to a politician or a king or becoming rich and famous myself! I dreamed of living in a huge house, even the White House!

I love old houses! I also fantasized about having lots of children and being a social success. It was endless the fantasies a child could have.

My current and more down-to-earth dream is getting to meet President Bush and Laura and shaking thier hands.

I could name more fantasies and dreams, but I wanted to keep this short and ask *you* all about your fantasies and dreams. Both the ones that came true and the ones that didn’t. I can imagine some of your dreams that maybe lead to your current state in life. Come on! Let’s have some fun! I told you mine - now you tell me yours.

My dream when I was little, was that I wanted to be Jeanie from the I Dream of Jeani show .. just blink my eyes and make things happen

Then I grew up and reality set in .. but a part of me still wishes that I could do that

Hmmmmm. Fantasies and dreams, eh? I've been known to have a few of them.
Why, just the other night, I dreamed I was sitting on the curb waiting for the parade to start.
All of a sudden, I jumped out of bed, stood at attention and placed my hand over my heart.
Mrs. dd woke up and said "What's the matter?"
"The Colors are passing by."
After they passed, I got back in bed and had a very restful sleep - except for the bed shaking from Mrs. dd laughing at me again. :)
I need to cut back on my meds.
