Haven't had time to listen to the clip yet. But, Glenn Beck must have flipped out over that statement. Beck's own daughter has cerebral palsy.

That, combined with what appears to me to be a strong desire to get revenge against the Schindlers, is the real thorn in his side. He's really caught between a rock and a hard place and has been for many years. It's tragic, but the law and Terri's best interests should supercede his personal misfortune, morally speaking.

A lack potassium or a low potassium level will cause the heart to throw PVCs, premature ventricular contractions. The normal pathway of the heart is from the atrium to the ventricles. The low potassium causes the heart to become irritated thus creating PVCs, irregular beats from the ventricle. The PVCs can override the normal or regular beats of the heart leading to ventricular tachycardia or ventricular fibulation. At this point the heart is basically quivering and usually breathing has stopped. This is when a person is schocked in a code situation.

When I got this email I was pleased because I had heard of this movement...and had heard of terri's lights starting to pick up steam, but was unaware of the dedication of this woman in Ohio! Bet we all have been doing the same thing...you guys would have been howling had you been able to watch me try to find Michael Reagan on the radio, post an email here, run to turn MSNBC on to try to catch the Schindler segment and answer the cell phone! WHAT A MESS!

I am so pulling for this family and for Terri---I don't want to miss a single thing this family has to say. Not one.

Well, Terri's dad responded to MS's charge that he wanted part of Terri's fund, and also said she had had no rehab for 12 years. The interviewer tried to draw him out, to repeat his (Schindler's) accusation that MS might have harmed Terri. Dad said firmly that Terri had NOT suffered a heart attack, that the bone scan indicated injuries, etc.

He got more time than the Schindlers USUALLY get on the cable networks. And as usual he was very concise and covered the basic points, spot-on.

He said they had lots of doctors on their side affirming that Terri can benefit from therapy, and he mentioned that Judge Greer had blocked therapy and ignored the doctors on Terri's side.

I hope somebody has the exact transcript, it was terrific!
