Hi Lone Voice in the Hinterlands. I am glad you are here fighting for Terri. I don't think the Natioanl Enquirer is they type of place we want to take our fight to.
We are right in our fight and I don't think we need a tabloid paper harrasing MS kids. They haven't done anything wrong. Please be careful with that line of thinking

"Does anybody know how much therapy Terri has had during her 13 yr ordeal? "
Before the malpractice award, Terri received an experimental treatment according to Michael.
After Michael got the money from the malpractice suits - NONE!

I just find it impossible to believe that we on Free Republic knew more about Schiavo than did George W. Greer. It makes no sense, does it? Surely Greer would have known about "Jodi," even if he did not know her name.

Also isn't the "National Enquirer" a Bill Clinton publication? It seems that the N.E. has a lawyer who was close to Clinton. Was it David Kendall? I would doubt that the N.E. would be sympathetic to Terri's fight. It is published out of Lantana, FL, and it does have some interesting stories, if exaggerated.

Larry King did not follow up on many important points because he did not do his homework.

I can't speak about all judges but the few I have seen when I have been at court seem to be in a hurry and want to get things over with.

If your parents heard Kate Adamson on O'Reilly tonight, they may change their minds about removing food and water.
Also one poster said it was illegal in her state. I believe it was Michigan. So some states will not allow people to starve to death. They distinguish between feeding tube removal and pulling the plug.

I wonder why LK didn't follow up on this?I was so disappointed in LK. He just sits there. Is he really that non caring? I heard that he's married to a young LDS woman with whom he has a baby (babies). I hoped she would have had some positive loving influence on her husband but I guess I was wrong.

It's good news for sure! It is indeed what we were praying for -- that hearts and minds would be changed; that those in positions of power would do good for Terri. With God all things are possible! Let's see what happens from here.
I'm still praying for a true advocate for Terri. Interesting that Kate Adamson, the woman on O'Reilly, used that same word: she called her husband/lawyer her main (very vocal, stubbornly insistent) ADVOCATE. May Terri find such a strong advocate.
May angels seen and unseen continue to guard, protect, and strengthen dear Terri -- and her family, as they prepare for their trip & time on LKL. May those who are able do good for Terri.

Her husband (the lawyer) said, "I threatened to sue everyone on earth" or something like that to force them to feed his wife again. I saw the interview. O'Reilly doesn't seem very compassionate toward Terri's situation. He can be a real butt sometimes.

I think I'll e-mail the Nationl Enquirer Why not? The more stories about Terri's plight the better.

Besides I don't think the NE is our calibre of news media. We have friends in high palces, we don't need grocery store rags harrasing children to make our point or to help us in any way.

I wish I could rub Terri's feet and massage her back and put some make up on her and give her a hug.

O'Reilly either is a FL native or has roots there. He started his working career as a teacher in a FL parochial school, just like Terri's brother. I understand that he thinks Terri is a "vegetable" and takes the side of George J. Felos in the case.

Yea, they're eager Cindy to get out on the golf green!

Brainstorm!!! I'm going to write to the national enquirer. there is nobody better then them at routing out this kind of story. The reason is they pay for information and most news organizations won't pay. Witness the Rush case, O.J. Simpson they haad pictures of the shoes, etc. etc.
I think I'll e-mail the Nationl Enquirer and give them stuff to go on and let theri paparzzi take the pictures with the telephoto lenses. he-he-he I told you I was sneaky. Well I am only sneaky for a good cause. "
I think you have a good idea there! NE is likely to pick up on it. One man married to one woman and living with another and spending the wife's money on the second woman. They could find out if the rumor about a third child is true.
To: CindyDawg
You can bet they met...in Terri's hospice room if not before. I know that's not what you meant, though.
To: Theodore R.
Yeah but it wouldn't take any homework to say "wait a minute. You say they wanted money but they offered you 70000? Can you clarify this?"

I understand that he thinks Terri is a "vegetable" and takes the side of George J. Felos in the case.I figured as much. O'Reilly hasn't really been supportive of the right to life for Terri. Not much interest on the Factor. On the other hand, On the Record and Hannity & Colmes have been more fair, don't you think? Strangely enough, I think Chris what's-his-name of MSNBC has been interested in this.

...that was my spoon. I made up a bunch before having to leave (which was hard to do) while sitting as close as I could to Terri. A picture was taken of it -- I was surprised & touched to see it made part of Terri's website.
Spoons symbolize Terri's situation for me -- this is what it boils down to: let those who love Terri care for her. Simple as that! So what if she has to be spoon fed! So what if she doesn't progress to that point and requires the feeding tube!
The spoon is easy to mail and doesn't pose a threat (remembering the debate about jello, which was a great idea). It can also be written on ;o) I hope such tiny things by so very many people will save Terri's life -- get her home where she belongs.
I do hope we'll see the end of this soon.
