Help Hold Ted Kennedy Accountable for His Racially Insensitive Remarks
Once again, the press is giving a Democrat Senator a "pass" on racially insensitive conduct. If you are unfamiliar with the controversy, click here. We, the people, must not let Senator Kennedy skate.
Please help out by taking the following easy steps to get the story out:
1) Click here to open an email to CORE (the Congress of Racial Equality). It is time for them to prove they can be effective, and writing to Republicans in Congress is not the answer to this issue. Of course, please feel free to send this email to any group that is in a position to help on this issue.
2) Compose an email demanding that Senator Kennedy be held responsible for his conduct. If you are short on time, a sample email follows:
Dear Mr. Innis,
I am writing to you because I am OUTRAGED by Senator Ted Kennedy's insensitive public comments on Friday -- specifically, his calling well-qualified minority judges such as Janice Rogers Brown and Miguel Estrada, African-American and Hispanic respectively, "Neanderthals". Though Senator Kennedy's comments were unquestionably insensitive, he refuses to apologize -- nor is the "free press" forcing him to apologize. In fact, it appears that they are once again burying a story merely because pursuing it would hurt a popular Democrat.
If a Republican had made the same comment, his congressional office would have been empty by 12:00pm yesterday afternoon -- and Senators like Ted Kennedy would be calling for blood (and for heads to roll).
CORE's mission, as stated, is "to identify and expose acts of discrimination in the public and private sectors of society. When such an act is uncovered, CORE. . . goes into action." It is time to go into action.
This blatant bias in the press -- self-imposed press censorship to protect a Democrat Senator -- must not stand, and Senator Kennedy must be held accountable for his reprehensible, hypocritical, insensitive conduct. Therefore, I call on CORE to immediately and publicly take visible action and call for Senator Kennedy's resignation, as he has once again proved that he is unfit to serve in the United States Senate. At the minimum, Senator Kennedy must be censured for his atrocious conduct.
Thank you,
YOUR NAME AND ADDRESS
3) Send it!
4) Click here to send an email to your friends asking them to email CORE as well! Just compose a message and put your friends email addresses in the TO field.
Good job!
PS Please check in (or reply with a BUMP) after you send your email so we can get a head count. Thanks!
Just remove his whiskey tube and leave it at that.
No way that bloated, brain damaged, liver inflated lifeguard is going to step down! I think you forgot your (/sarcasm) tag.
If you're right, I'm definitely leaving cookies and milk next to my fireplace on December 24th.......
You are correct, they do not "hate" the minorities. They simply view them as a substandard segment of society that cannot succeed unless aided by their "compassionate" democratic elected officials.
Democrats can either hate minorities or patronize them via their allegation that somehow minorities are viewed as substandard to the rest of the American population. Either way, their implication is that minorities are not equal to them and thus need their help.
There is very little difference between "hatred" of minorities and being called sheep that need to be protected by democratic "shepherds"......
If you want on (or off) of my black conservative ping list, please let me know via FREEPmail. (And no, you don't have to be black to be on the list!)
Extra warning: this is a high-volume ping list.
works for Republicans but sadly, not for Democrats
Me thinks you are a troll.
Do you happen to know where that picture is of Ted Kennedy in a group of (4 or 5) evolutionary animals/humans walking to the right illustrating the progression of man, where Ted, I believe, is referred to as 'Homo Chappaquiddus'? It was great.
